Not long ago a book called Where's the Doctor? came out that harkened back to the Where's Waldo? books. Filled with aliens of all sorts from the Doctor Who universe, you could search for the Doctor, the TARDIS, Amy and Rory in page after page of pictures. My kids and I had great fun with it.

Now we have a sequel--When's the Doctor? This one takes us to various periods of time that the Doctor has visited both terrestrial--Ancient Egypt, Victorian London, the Aztecs--and alien--New Earth, TARDIS graveyard, Metebelis III. Once again we have to find the Doctor, the TARDIS, Amy and Rory, along with some special figures you can find at the end of the book.

Once again, the kids and I had great fun with this book. In fact, though the artwork is again wonderful, it seems a little less "busy" than the previous book, making it a bit easier for my little ones to be successful in their searches. So, for the littlest Doctor Who fans out there, this one might be a better place to start.

Where's Waldo this is not. The book is relatively cheap in quality in terms of materials. There are relatively few scenes in which to find things. The characters in the pictures are too large, making everything easy to find. In addition, it feels like the characters/people in the scenes are copy and pasted dozens of time to fill up the pictures. It was amusing and sad to spot the exact same Greek or Roman soldier in the same stance (some of them reversed) all over the picture.

This was slightly better than Where's the Doctor? overall.

I refuse to give this product a good review just because it is Doctor Who themed. If you are going to buy this, keep your expectations in check. If my wife didn't like Doctor Who so much, I would consider returning this.

Every page is full of people in different places, and on every page you have to find the Doctor (the latest one), Amy Pond, Rory, and the Tardis. In the back, there are lists of more things to find on each page, like it says to find an Ood, a mummy, and the pandorica on this page and find a sonic screwdriver, a sontarian, and sycic paper on another page, etc. Very fun book. Easy to look through multiple times.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son who LOVES Doctor Who. It's a pretty fun take on the "Where's Waldo" type of books. We had a lot of fun on Christmas morning looking for The Doctor, Amy, Rory and The TARDIS!

Just like Where's Waldo, you have to look through pages of scenes full of Doctor Who themes, to find the doctor (#11), Amy Pond, and a few others. Once you find who you're looking for, enjoy the detail that you had to search through to find them. Such fun books!

A fun Sci-Fi twist on "Where's Waldo?" My teenage daughter loved it. You have to be a little open-minded about identifying the characters, but seeing everything in each picture when looking was a lot of fun.

A bit short on content for what you pay, but my friend loves Dr. Who and she really wanted this for her collection. She enjoyed the 5 minutes it took her to go through the whole book, I guess that's all that matters.

I enjoyed, then donated to Children’s cancer ward at the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania. I enjoyed, played each page. was really fun. I often buy books for my self that if kids might like I take with me and give to sign in desk to inspect and put out for the kids.
