About the Author
For the last ten years, Rick has propelled people's vocations with “Continuous Career Invention." Dozens of people elevated their careers to a whole new level of effectiveness. Creating an environment where people see their careers from an entirely different vantage point and then discover the energizing purpose they bring to their work has been extremely satisfying and rewarding. In 1991 Rick founded his consulting firm. He has been a part-time Chief Scientist for several small and medium sized telecommunications companies. He also has been part of the initial team for several telecommunications startup firms. Rick spent his technical career in the high technology segment of the telecommunications industry, beginning his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories doing fundamental research in the emerging field of digital telecommunications. His patents, published papers and professional awards document his technological contributions. He was one of first individuals in the world to earn a Ph.D. in Computer Science.
