it says it's a 2 disc, one is BD and the other is DVD so i'm assuming no 3d. I still don't get why studios insist on shoving DVD copies in with movies still and charging us for it... if i want the dvd version i'll buy the dvd version! Much rather have a 2 disc collection be a 3d and 2d bluray disc
There are plenty of 20th Century Fox "limited" packs out there that are just Blu-Ray+DigitalHD. yes, I know those don't have 3D in them. And WB has released combo packs as a 3D+Blu-Ray with nothing else in them. I refuse to buy those because I want the multiple formats without being ripped off by being cheated out of an iTunes Digital Copy or being forced to buy the Dvd separately, which I would be forced to do, if Paramount made this a 3D+Blu-Ray with nothing else. On top of that 3D+Blu-Ray with nothing else packs won't have Digital Copy in them and the only reason I buy Paramount combo packs other than for the Blu-Ray 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd is so I can have an iTunes Digital Copy AND DigitalHD which will NEVER happen if Paramount starts releasing movies as 2-disc 3D+Blu-Ray. Those would either be DigitalHD only (which I would boycott like I did with Free Birds, Runner Runner, Black Nativity, Baggage Claim and 3 Days To Kill) or they would not carry ANY code insert period. I would NEVER buy a combo pack from Paramount that wasn't a Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+DigitalHD or 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+DigitalHD. This is why I refused to buy the movie A Thousand Words.
Now to answer the 3D question. Yes, this combo pack and the Limited Edition one with the statue do not have the 3D disc in them. But, Paramount will release a 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+DigitalHD Limited 3D Edition combo pack. When, I do not know. But I think they will release it sometime within Winter 2014 and beginning of 2015 because Dark Of The Moon 3D 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+UltraViolet came out I think in the beginning of January of 2012 after the Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy combo pack came out in late 2011 with a voucher saying "Take $10 off of Dark Of The Moon 3D 3D+Blu-Ray+Dvd+Digital Copy+UltraViolet" after the person had already bought the non-3D version.
