What are Dog Rocks?
Dog Rocks are a 100% natural and safe Australian product that helps save your lawn from burn patches caused by dogs when they urinate on your grass. They filter out impurities in water, such as tin, ammonia, and nitrates. Dog Rocks have absolutely no harmful side effects to dogs, and even if your dog shares his bowl with the cat, it is fine for your cat to drink this water too. There is no change to the pH balance to either of your pet’s urine.
The impurities are generally passed out through urine and when they come in contact with grass it results in grass burn; a dead yellow patch of grass. Dog Rocks make the water source cleaner for your pet and eliminate grass burn. Water without impurities from Dog Rocks will actually help your pet to fertilize your lawn.
Your grass will start looking greener and fresher in no time at all. Dog Rocks are a naturally mined product so the rock sizes differ from pack to pack but the weight of each pack is the same and therefore the efficacy is consistent. There are usually 2 or 3 rocks per pack. One pack of Dog Rocks will last you two months, all the rocks from one pack need to be added to one water bowl. It is important to make sure that your pet drinks solely from this source of water, as any other water that they drink will not have been filtered by Dog Rocks and will therefore reduce the benefit of Dog Rocks. Top the water bowl up rather than replace the water everyday and when needed. Change the water when the dog is least likely to consume large amounts of water.

Product is fantastic but the 6-month supply bag only came with 3 rocks.
I have used this product before in single use bags and love it! They usually came with 2-3 small rocks and would last a few months (sometimes longer).
I decided it was more cost-effective to buy the 6- month supply bag this time. Problem was, it came with only 3 rocks- 2 large ones and 1 small.
The package said to use 100mg of rock per 1L of water. With a 600 mg bag, it said it was a 6-month supply. How do I divide 3 different size rocks into six months? The water dish I use is only large enough for a little over 1L of water. I can't simply use a large rock for longer because it would require more water with it.
I had to send it back. Will go back to single use bags from now on.
I knew it wasn't likely that they would work but I just had to see for myself. Just believe all the reviews, these don't work.
Just a helpful tip. While looking up astro turf companies and falling off the chair at the cost (although probably worth it in the long run). I stumbled upon some info that suggested planting clover in your lawn. Its much cheaper so I decided to give it a go. I tossed the seed around, and didn't even bother watering it. Lo and behold it came up, and it came up strongest in the mud/dead grass patches, and it kept growing even though they continued to pee on those spots!
