There was a good variety of sights and sounds for stimulation (squirrels, birds, geese, various rodents, pigs, and even dog-riding monkeys)--and I give the video points for the fact there's "something for everyone." One of my poms became particularly excited during the rodent sequence when he heard the high pitched squeaks of mice. He actually ran behind the TV and barked to see if mice were hiding in the speakers.
However, this is not a DVD that will work for all dogs. Some dogs will LOVE it, some may get bored, and some may get whipped up into a frothy frusterated frenzy as they get excited but have nothing else to do but bark at the TV.
How your pup reacts to this video will depend on several factors:
1) your dog's temperment,
2) what excites your dog,
3) how much additional stimulation your dog gets.
If you have a high strung dog, do not get him/her this DVD.
It's a good idea to supervise a pup's reaction this DVD until you've seen how he/she has seen it a few times. Additionally, it's VERY important to make sure the pup has some good safe toys (ex - kongs and chew toys) to take his/her excitement out on when (or after) the video is playing. Otherwise it will provide more frusteration than entertainment as your dog will not have an outlet for his/her new-found excitement.
Other than that, I think "Dog Sitter" is a great idea and a decent product. If nothing else, it's amusing for us pet owners. :)

One dog was interested at first then fell asleep.
The seconds ears twitched and then he left the room
he seemed irritated and now leaves the room everytime
I put it on. The third dog completely ignores it. Believe
the problem is that we have squirrils, birds, mice and rabbits
in our garden and the dogs are used to them. So if you have
a dog stuck in the city or sububia when they do not get
much stimulus and go walkies on a tred mill then this may be
for your mutts, but with mine it did not work at all. Thought
the monkey bit was a bit gross as they did not seem to
be happy on the dogs and seemed to be tied on, yuk!
