From the Manufacturer

Standard camera backpack/sling

The DK-10 is the standard size of the DK-series camera backpack/sling that’s made for everyday use. It’s a complete storage solution for your camera, lens, and accessories.

The DK-series attractive design is made with protective materials (black polyester nylon) and made for daily wear and tear from local to long distance traveling.

One understood feature is the ease of using a backpack and quickly converting it to a right side or left side sling bag.  The shoulder straps are padded enough to bring you comfort throughout your journeys.  You can tuck one shoulder strap in the rear to cross clamp your preferred side of sling.  An added feature is the top and front grab handle.  Use the top grab handle as a weight for your counter weight hook on your tripod, you can use the front grab handle to conveniently attach and remove it from the tripod.

Unzip the front zipper to access left, right, and main compartments.  The main compartment lets you reposition storage sections to maximize storage space. The left compartment is for left handed photographers, the right compartment is for right handed photographers, and the main compartment is for ease of access to all compartments.

The usual items you can store in the DK-10 is a camera with lens, an extra lens, a shoe mount flash, battery & charger, couple of filters, extra memory, and more accessories.

I use this as a combination purpose bag: Cameras for light shooting work, extra camera gear bag, emergency gear bag for winter/blizzard travel, day pack for hiking up to 8 hours. It's easy to shoulder, unshoulder, organize, load and access gear.

It is not as easy to access as the outstanding LowePro Slingshot 300 (which I also use). NOTHING touches the Slingshot for rapid ease of access (you don't have to unshoulder it -- just slide it down from your back to your waist) or for safety during access (divisions open face up when dropped to the waist), but then this doesn't COST as much as the superior LowePro products and has proven just about as durable.

I suspect that this is very close to the size of the Slingshot 200, but you save about 25% (today, about twenty bucks). If size is right and cash no object or if speed of access is absolutely essential, buy the LowePro Slingshot 200. If cost matter more, consider this Doluca.

For the price of this backpack ($41), I highly recommend getting this. The build quality is pretty good. The backpack is light, which is an important factor for me. I got this backpack because it has a tripod compartment - it works well. Most other backpacks in this price range does not have it. As a small person, it's comfortable to wear compared to many other camera backpacks I've tried. The inside compartment dividers can be sturdier but it still works well. I'm able to put a 1 liter Nalgene water bottle in the top compartment with other camera accessories like lens pens, SD cards, gloves, keys, etc. and it holds up fine. The back has a compartment that's wide enough for you to put a tablet in if you're traveling. I wish the backpack was a little wider (enough to fit a regular student notebook). It also has a strap around your hips for ergonomics so the backpack doesn't move around too much (important for hiking). The zippers work well - no snags. I'd still be gentle with the zipper so you don't break them since they're not the jumbo size zippers. Overall, I highly recommend this backpack. It's really nice and way cheaper compared to the ones they sell at Walmart or Target. It's also nicer than the Lowepro backpacks I've tried. It's way lighter and less expensive than the Mountainsmith backpacks. The MS backpacks are nice but they're not as ergonomic. The zippers snag against the flaps, they're really heavy, and more expensive. There's enough space in the lower compartment for a camera body and one lens. For a while I had the Canon T3i attached with kit lens (18-55mm) and the 55-250mm lens in the lower compartment.

Camera bags can be rather pricey compared to stoutly built regular backpacks. Therefore, I've been carrying camera accessory stuff in a well padded regular backpack as a second carry bag, until I got a pretty good deal on this bag for under 50 ducats.

While the overall dimension is considered mid-size, it will carry battery gripped 70D with 24-105 mm lens no problem. Larger 70-200 mm equivalent lens is a TIGHT fit but is still do-able. If you remove the divider separating the bottom half from the top half, you can even accommodate larger lenses but space usage becomes somewhat inefficient. It also comes with a separate rain pouch that can be stowed on one of the few pouches. It is lacking smaller pouches for small, accessory items. It has both chest and waist strap and well padded shoulder straps. Rest of the bag is well padded as well.

While not perfect, pretty good for the price.

I searched tons of different bags ranging from $50-$150 and read tons of reviews but found that this one was best to suit my needs. I was a little hesitant as there are always pros and cons with everything, but went for this anyways. I am so happy with it! This bag is strong and durable. I travel a lot for work and needed a bag that could hold my camera and laptop along with all my other stuff. I love the easy access side zippers for pulling your camera out quickly. My only suggestion to the company is to add dual zippers to the sides and top as well. It's not a huge ordeal, but when you have your hands full, trying to pull on one zipper is annoying..but again, not a big deal!!

I also loved the top section. I throw my headset, pens, etc in that pocket and that gives me easy access when on the plane. I also love the handle on the top. You can just grab and go!! I should also mention that this bag is durable! I don't have a ton of lenses, but I did use books in the other side of the front section. I also love that you can take out the dividers & rearrange yourself!

Not sure why I was surprised, I could have worked out the dimensions before I bought it. However, I didn't and I was a little surprised how much it sticks out on your back. It is very roomy, and will hold all my gear plus a little more, but I would prefer something that wasn't quite so bulky. Again, I could have paid more attention to the dimensions....so if that is important to you really measure out what it will look like before you buy it.

I spent a considerable amount of time looking for a bag to meet my needs and finally found it here! The features that I like best are:
Large but not cumbersome, light weight, strong and durable, configurable interior storage that accommodates multiple lenses, a speedlight, various small accessories (spare batteries, lens cleaning kit, memory cards, filters ...). The bag also has an accessible, well padded compartment for a laptop or tablet. There is also a "holster" to carry a reasonably sized tripod and a rain cover that should provide reasonable protection in a light drizzle.

Bottom line - I really like this bag!
