From the Publisher
This is, in our knowledge, the first Art Photography title published worldwide exclussively based on color infrared photography, while not being a technical publication or a how-to manual.
From the Author
" ..Your photographs are fakes. Definitely fakes. I dont recall you being still, frigid and lifeless like that, with the wrong contrast on your hair and such a miserable smile on your face.
If I can recall well, it must have been something else that I was looking at. It was something else that I saw through the censorship of the lens and with my poor eyes, which I could not control, every time they stuck on you.
At moments like these, I tried to persuade my eyes to look some place else, if only to give myself a chance to escape, and not be taken as a prisoner of your icon. Your true icon, not your image.
Still, I thought, something must I have counted wrong, something must I have missed.
I filled my memories with you, I became accustomed to seeing you and trying to reconfigure your look into familiar faces.
Promises remain trivial and distant and memories are fragile.
One wrong action, one failed transform and they will sink deep into the non-accessible memory domain, data not accessible, lost forever and for good.
But what shall I do now that your photographs lie to me?..."
