This is a great read. I could not put it down . I loved the development of the main characters, Nathan & Ashlee along with the plots . I was disappointed in Nate's weakness whenever he was confronted with challenges . For a Dom role in all other things, this was a surprise . It made me question if he was right for Ashlee. Conversely , Ashlee became stronger with each challenge . In fact the strength of Ashlee's character is what got them through all of the challenges and to the HEA.

This series is so good! This book is so intense. I love Nate's character. Totally dominant. Totally sexy. Totally a jerk. But the site of him that's insecure and doubtful makes him real. And Ashlee is amazing. I love that she's so loving, kind and strong. Yet when she skills into sub mode and says "yes, Mr. Lexington" a big part of me wants to be her. I'm expecting great things room the final book. The first two are Wow! Just Wow!

Wow! Nate Lexington is a man of many unpredictable ups and downs when least expected. As he and Ashlee struggle to navigate their way into a “real” relationship in this second book of the series, it’s clear that there will be several road blocks and detours getting between them and their “happily ever-after.” This book uncovers deep issues for both and brings to light a better understanding of who they are as individuals as well as a couple. No spoiler here but the ending is a bit of a shocker considering how much they have overcome and learned about each other. The only warning is it WILL leave the reader with no choice but to read the 3rd and final book to discover what happens with Nate & Ashlee. A very good read overall.

Carrying on from the first book after the apology from Nate both he and Ashlee are back together and Ashlee has a new job description of sorts , the next step is to approach her biological father , which actually goes very well . Keen to get her mother involved as well when she broaches the subject her mum Roberts , who is eager to meet with Ashlee’s father as well , Roberta arranges a meal so they can all get together . In the mean time Ashlee’s estranged Grandparents and her Aunt turn up unannounced at Roberta’s house ,saying that they want to get to know their Granddaughter . Nate is also beginning to see that Ashlee is a good influence on him and when his younger brother shows up she encourages him to reach out and apologise for his past behaviour . Ashlee’s Grandparents and Aunt make another surprise visit this time at the meal her mum has organised but when they show that they haven’t forgiven Ashlee’s mum for the disgrace that they believe she brought upon the family and they now are directing nasty vile homophobic slurs upon their daughter & Ashlee’s father ,with anger coursing through his veins Nate tells them to leave . When all seems to be going ok, and things are seemingly settling down Ashlee can’t help but feel that Nate is still keeping something from her , of course that’s when book two comes to a cliffhanger ending when Ashlee stumbles upon something very unsettling , looking forward now to the next book in the series .😍
