The most overused phrase in the book is; "As previously stated.." Sometimes referring back to something you only read one or two sentences ago! They take a little information and just stretch it out to make it longer and say the same stuff over and over.....oh and "as previously stated" They take a little information and just stretch it out to make it longer and say the same stuff over and over, maybe changing the way its said only slightly.
It looks like the book was slapped together in a rush and offered to a less-than-professional firm for publication, who failed to even read the book seriously, before offering it to the world. They should have refrained, for everyone's sake.
I suggest to anyone researching domain name investing that they should skip the painful experience offered by this book.
This was a frustrating book to read. It had very basic information and it repeated a lot of the same wording throughout the book. There were numerous spelling errors and many titles were mixed with upper and lower case letters. (maybe that's just the Kindle version) Anyway, I guess I was hoping for more tools and web links to explore the topic further. There were a few mentions of places like Go Daddy and Sedo, but no specific references to any web forums or tools. I kept hoping there would be links at the end at least for more information, but the only link was to the publisher's site for more great books. Luckily the Kindle version was half the price of the paperback book, but it's still frustrating. If anyone can recommend a helpful book or website on the domain name investing topic, I'd greatly appreciate it.
