In 1971, 4th Grade history teacher Mrs. Meyers gave Don Kilcoyne an "F" on a history presentation because she declared it "too creative." To which Don replied, loudly, "No such thing!" and got detention for a week.
Mrs. Meyers is gone, but Don still dedicates his life to the proposition that you can never have too much creativity. As a marketing Creative Director, Don has spent more than 20 years helping brands find their voices. As an author and playwright, he creates characters and worlds designed to help readers laugh, cry, shiver and -- most importantly -- come back for more. And as a singer and percussionist with the world-famous Crimson Pirates (They've sold five CDs in New Zealand so technically they're world-famous!) he's performed on 6 CDs and at gigs from NYC to LA. He also designs and casts original rustic pewter jewelry.
Don is joyfully married to a ukelele-playing fitness instructor. So he wins.
