Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It is a good start at streaming MythTV recordings without a true Myth Frontend.
I had issues with audio sync (behind by almost a second immediately with no way to correct). This could have been because the recording was not transcoded into H.264 (my test was either MPEG2 or 4). My understanding of most streaming devices (Fire TV, Roku, ...) is that they natively use H.264 encoding and anything else will have issues or just not work.
Since it doesn't actually connect as a Myth Frontend, it doesn't bookmark where you left off in a recording, nor can you delete anything. This looks like it simply pulls the database info (a very limited set) and links that to the recorded files for direct streaming.
Installed on my new FireTV stick and it works really well. I can browse and watch recorded shows as well as my movies. This will replace my ION based frontend! Thanks very much to the developers.
