I'm also significantly happier for having dealt with my emotional eating. I found Heather's advice so helpful for identifying triggers and then actually coming up with strategies to deal with those triggers (and then what to do if you don't get it right all the time). I've read lots of books on this subject, from Intuitive Eating and all the books by Geneen Roth, but I found Heather's approach the best how-to do actually remedy the problem. Plus, her writing often made me laugh out loud. If you have a habit of making food the answer to all of your problems, you will have the tools to change this about yourself if you follow her wise approach.
