Going so far as to enter the political realm to try to get regulations changed to protect students Ben is, no doubt creating a name for himself along the way. Being interested in becoming a pilot myself and doing the research on the costs led me to realize it was not something I could pursue with two kids. How many others turn away from this dream due to the costs involved? I'm glad someone is taking a stand to try to find the answers, get the industry regulated and blow the whistle on the rip off artists disguised as schools and taking advantage of students.
Reading this book makes me want to see a full scale investigation and documentary on the subject. Perhaps the answer is getting the general public involved and aware of what's going on. Surely after 9/11 more people would care about making sure our aviation industry is regulated and held accountable.
This book has valuable information about the order of ratings you need, reliable schools, software and flight simulators that will help those that are seeking a career as a pilot to achieve that dream. There's also information for teens that are interested in flying. I enjoyed this book - its well worth reading!!
Becoming a pilot has always been a dream of mine and while looking on Amazon for instruction books on how to become one I stumbled upon: “Don't Pay Any Flight School More Than $2500 In Advance: The Censored Information The Bad Guys Don't Want You To Know.” Call it fate or fortune that I did so because Ben’s book saved me the possible downfall of investing and trusting in a company that could have stolen from me.
It’s amazes me that the government allows companies the ability to operate and perform scams of this nature. If it was not for books like this, from pioneers like Ben who are making a difference in our world, more innocent people will be scammed out of there both their money and dreams.
If you are looking for a quick read that brings you up to speed on becoming a pilot and not being scammed in the process then this is the book for you. What I like best, apart from avoiding being scammed, was that the book also offered you with valuable information that you need to find trusted schools, flight simulators and a vast array of tools needed to help you achieve you dreams. Ben, a big thanks and keep up the amazing work of helping people like me who could have made a mistake on becoming a pilot.
5 Stars and a Must Buy.
The remainder of the book has very specific details about what it will cost and what it will take to obtain a pilot’s license. The author does a terrific job of outlining costs starting from day one. He really breaks it down, bit by bit, so the reader knows exactly what to expect. He also provides many tips for saving money along the way and, in addition, the author gives insider tips based on his expertise and experience.
If you are interested in becoming a pilot – in any capacity – start by reading this book!
What a racket this book reveals the dirty secret that Flight Schools except for 3 states are not regulated by the states. And in the whole country not regulated by the FAA. They take your money up front, then do their best to wash you out.
Bravo Ben for having the courage to write this book. I'm sure you've made a lot of enemies, on the other side of the coin, I believe that you will save a lot of people from being duped.
