If you have a child whom loves to do minor interactions with things. They will love this book. They can make sounds as they push the button and laugh at what happens to Larry. Fun for adults to enjoy with their kids and short enough to keep a young one's attention for 2 minutes.
A few months ago I brought it to my 4yo’s preschool to read to the class, and they liked it so much that it is now a part of the teacher’s daily activities. She gives each kid a red-dot card and uses it to teach them impulse control and to follow directions.
We also have “Don’t Touch This Book” and “DPtB Christmas Edition” and they are cute, but not as good as the original. And we have a similar book called “Press Here” which is fine but definitely not as loved as this one.
The boardbook is fine but it is missing a couple of pages. I recomend instead getting the hardcover and, if it gets as much love as mine, laminating/taping the pages.

Highly recommended as the interactive nature of the book is clearly a good idea, especially when the book needs shaking. We both hold a side of the book and shake it and she loves this.
My 2 year old son has now found out how much fun this is. He loves it. Very simple and very mycu enjoyed by kids.
