With Don't Think , multi GRAMMY® Award-winning electronic music duo The Chemical Brothers bring their mind-bendingly psychedelic live show to the big screen for the first time, and in grand style. A state of art spectacle shot at Japan s Fujirock Festival in front of 50,000 ravenous fans, Don't Think combines the Chemical Brothers famously ferocious modern electronic sounds and hardcore dance beats with eye-popping visuals. Directed by their longtime visual collaborator Adam Smith, and shot on 20 cameras, Don't Think is the first concert film to feature Dolby 7:1 surround sound,
mixed for the screen by the band, and includes 2 new Chemical Brothers tracks. Don't think, let it flow, surrender to the void.

The Chemical Brothers covered their most popular tracks (leaving out Galvanize, to my surprise) but still delivered an insane experience.
If you have not seen them live, put that on your bucket list. I was up for 18 hours at Coachella when the chemical brothers started playing.... after their 1 hour performance, i was so energized, i couldn't fall asleep and wound up falling asleep after being awake for nearly 30 hours.
This movie is a high quality, super-surreal experience. Enjoy it at full volume, have a viewing party at your place and just enjoy the experience. Just remember to fall in love... there's nothing else... there's nothing else.
Needless to say, it rocks. Filmed before 50,000 screaming Japanese at the Fujirock Festival, TCB adds unbelievable visuals to their thumping beat and rarely lets up. This style of music isn't something I listen to for long periods, but each time I was about to stifle a yawn, the guys kicked it up a notch. This is a complete sensual experience and will give your surround system and subwoofers a workout.
The Blu ray disc starts immediately. There are no trailers, warnings or other crap that you have to page through. You can chose uncompressed Stereo PCM or DTS-HD Master Audio 7.2. Go for the latter and crank it up. The picture is excellent given this is a a light show as well as a concert. I could have done with less viewing down audience's throats but the camera captures how engrossed they were.
Electronic dance music doesn't come better than this - a great concert with great sound and great visuals.
It's amusing to see members of the crowd react to the trippy visuals.
This concert DVD / bluray disc gets a big bonus point for keeping that shaky-cam nonsense to a minimum. Camera effects and video post-production effects are kept to a relative minimum so they never intrude.
There is one issue, though: the giant creepy clown faces that sing along to a couple parts near the beginning and at the end. I don't even find clowns scary or creepy at all, but these ones were definitely creepy. It might make someone in a... fragile state of mind go to some bad places... if you catch my drift.
That said, I do not have a copy of the Blu Ray, so I can not comment on the extras. But it was such a good film that I intend to purchase the Blu Ray as soon as I can.
