There is nothing funny or clever about any of the pictures or activities in the book. One "activity" has a list of academic positions on the left (graduate student, provost, assistant professor, adjunct professor, etc) and drawings of modes of transportation on the right (plane, limo, shoes, old car). Match the position with the transportation! That's the level of insight into academia into which the book delves -- some people make a lot more money than others.
I honestly can't see any function for this book except as a gag gift for a new graduate. I was hoping for more and am disappointed that I spent my money on this. I think the lack of sample pages was a smart decision by the publisher. They probably realized that nobody would purchase the book if they knew what they were getting.
