So far so good
Just got them today and put them on. They seem sturdy. The rubber that covers the magnets seems soft. I cleaned the paint before putting them on. Install was simple. Not sure why some people had trouble. Suction the cup inside a window, close the door, stick the guards on. As for scratching the paint, yeah anything touching the paint can scratch it if you aren't careful about removing them without sliding them on the paint. I'm not worried about that.

I looked everywhere for protection for my vehicle door. I only found 1 item that looked good and performed well. Door Shox!
They are super easy to use and install.
Sleek black body contours nicely with my black honda civic.
One thing, I wish I could have my doors protected and drive at the same time.
Not sure why it says not to drive with these on? Any feedback would be appreciated.
The only thing is you cant protect entire vehicle plus be able to get inside your car. It has to be parked.
Now I don't have to park 300 feet from the grocery store, now I can park anywhere, think of the possibilities!

I like that the Shox are tall enough to be the thing that sticks out farthest on the door, the magnets are covered in soft-ish plastic that, so far, has not caused any damage to the paint, the magnets are plenty strong. it's a little fiddly to get the them positioned on the car and get most of the cable inside the car and suction cups stuck to an interior piece where it will stay but after you've done it a couple times you'll be a pro.
