My granddaughter loves mint and chocolate... My aim is not to count calories but to count chemicals and to ensure that anything I cook/bake for her is clean and as pure as it can be...Most food flavourings/extracts are not completely pure which is reflected in the cost...it is also reflected in the amount you use which is why I prefer peppermint oil to flavouring /extracts I use approx a quarter of the amount of oil to what I would use in flavouring plus the taste is still not as pronounced...If you love mint and want to taste it in your baking then Peppermint oil is the way to go it is pure just make sure you buy food grade...I use mine when baking mint choc chip cookies and the taste is sublime an excellent product...I also received a sample of lemon oil from the supplier which I cannot wait to try...

I've been looking for that 'perfect' food grade peppermint oil for some time, when I came across this oil. From the reviews, it sounded like it would be just what I was looking for, so I took a chance and ordered it. I was NOT disappointed!
The reason I was looking for a high 'potency', pure peppermint oil, in food grade, was because I wanted to add a couple of drops to the water in my CPAP machine at night. I didn't feel that a standard essential oil would be the best idea, to be inhaling, pretty much directly, into my system, so to speak. The other food grade oils I'd tried, even tho they said they were 100% peppermint oil, actually weren't. They included a carrier oil, like vegetable or almond oil, which not only diluted the minty aspect, but also has a scent of it's own, that interfered with the mint scent and taste.
This brand is 100% peppermint oil. Full stop. No carrier oils, no added anything. Just peppermint oil. And it's potent! I've used a couple of drops or more, pretty much every night, since June of last year, (2023) and I've just now run out! One ounce lasted WAY longer than I could have hoped for! It's that potent!
I'm writing this review now, because I'm ordering my 2nd bottle of it today. Don't bother with other brands, seriously. This is the best I've found, anywhere, and the price is also lower than just about any other brand as well, which makes it a win/win! I love this stuff!

I received this peppermint oil today, but the cap on the bottle was damaged due to poor packing. But it smelled wonderful! This is seriously the best peppermint scent I've experienced. I like it so much I've reordered it since I was graciously refunded for the damaged one. It's food-grade so I plan on using it for food/drink consumption. This peppermint oil scent is not overwhelming like some are. It's soft but you know it's there. I highly recommend it. I'll update once I get the new one and I've had a chance to use it for baking. I can't wait to taste it.
