This steel replacement rim seems to be working well as expected.These(4) replaced my stock aluminum rims on my car (Lincoln) as the originals were all rim leaking and I got tired of going out there and filling them up every other day.This is a common problem with the chrome plated rims from the late 90's and early 2000's,deterioration that is,and the tire shop repair guys recommend replacing them.I was going to go with stock size new aluminum rims but didn't want to spend the extra money and the roads here (Michigan) are pretty bad and I didn't want to break one of those new aluminum rims on a pothole .They are heavier(26lbs) then the aluminum rims(20lbs),but seem to do the job.The Ford steel rims were many times more then these,time will tell if they hold up,but after a couple of months they seem ok,the pressure is holding good.Hope this helps!!

I ordered this Dorman wheel - item number 139-131, a 16 inch wheel - because a Crown Victoria fan on You Tube recommended it. My car came with only a fake spare and I want a real wheel and tire for a spare. He said it was better than what Amazon had to offer and cheaper. When I got the wheel in the mail, procured by Amazon, I measured it and found it was 17 inches across at the outside rim. I thought they had made a mistake since it is for 16 inch tires. But it was my mistake - measured the wrong place. Then Amazon stated that it was not suitable for a 2004 Crown Victoria and I should buy the 139-102. I could not get this question definitely settled by looking at every online catalog of wheels.
I went to a tire store to have the front two tires replaced and I asked them to check if this wheel fit my car. They mechanic showed me the wheel mounted on the car just right. It is suitable to use for a 2004 Crown Victoria with 16 inch wheels.
