Dot Hatfield is a writer living in Central Arkansas. After working for 25 years in various social service agencies serving children, special needs adults and victims of crime, she began writing in 2000.
Dot has written for the Nashville Tennessean, the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, The Upper Room, Mature Living, Evangel, Church Educator and Ministry Now Magazine.
Dot's newest novel, An Ordinary Day, was published in December 2013. Her previous books include the novels To Find a Home and The Last to Know; a collection of award-winning short stories called Every Day A New Day; and the one-act play RIP Emma Lou Briggs.
