    This game downloaded, installed, and launched flawlessly on my 2012 Nexus 7 tablet.

    I purchased this earlier this year for PC via Steam and played through it. When I saw this game was available free through the Amazon app store, I couldn't resist the opportunity to add it to my mobile library.

    As to be expected, the graphics and textures have been simplified compared to the original big-screen versions of this game. The animations and frame rates took a heavy hit and things are noticeably choppy when playing on my year-and-a-half old Nexus 7.

    The game is decent, but for fans of Monkey Island, this game isn't Ron Gilbert's best work. My review of 5 stars is for the seamless mobile port of this title. If I was reviewing on content and gameplay alone, I'd score this game about 3.5 stars, or about 7/10.

    The touch controls seem to work fine, and are very simple, perhaps a little too simple.
    Need to pick up that crowbar? Simply touch the crowbar and your character on screen automatically walks over to the crowbar and picks it up.
    Need to break down this wall? Just touch the wall a few times and your character breaks down the wall.
    Need to climb up that ledge over there? Your character will automatically jump and climb over anything necessary to get to the spot on the screen you pointed to.

    What a fun game! It was the first game I purchased for the Fire TV this past weekend. The game was addictive. I put way too many hours into it. Also, the voice over was generally pretty funny as were the outcomes. I think that's mostly what made it so much fun. The puzzles were not terribly hard, so there was never really a moment where you're like "yes, I got it!!!" I'll be searching for some more games like this one after I get through trying out the remaining characters/levels.

    First thing to keep in mind : the game takes a very long time to download with about 1.5GB of data. Once it's done, the game install proceed normally.
    However, as many other, I have been completely unable to play the game. Most of time it iz stuck on a bkack a screen after the loading process. Twice I saw the menu screen offering to choose between continue, start over...and quit. Unfortunately, none of these options were working. So, this app needs a serious update, and as it is deserves less than a star (1.5GB of unusable data !).
    The game looks promising though. I hope it will be fixed soon.

    Cons: The controls really are quite bad. I've died so many times when trying to jump, and the characters end up walking off a cliff instead. Also, a lot of the time it's difficult to get them to pick things up even when clicking directly on the item.
    Another problem is that the game doesn't work on all Android devices. I tried multiple times to install it on my Asus Transformer TF101 tablet, and when it did install, it would turn my tablet into a "brick," forcing me to do a hard shutdown of the tablet. When I tried to play it, the most the game would ever do was give me a black screen for a few seconds before shutting down. However, I was able to install and play it on my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone without issue. While it is okay playing on my phone, I would enjoy it much more if I could play on my much larger tablet. Please fix this issue so this fun game can be installed and played on more devices.

    My boyfriend has this game on Xbox 360 and I got hooked. Found it here and bought it. Won't download. It gets two stars because I know it's a good game. But it doesn't work on my kindle fire HD. Seems to me that Amazon shouldn't offer apps that aren't compatible with their own devices. I'll be seeking a refund.

    Yes this is a large game and it takes a while to download but I didn't have any trouble. It also installed the first time on my nexus 4. The intro is only 30 seconds and it is very funny. So if you have your screen timeout set to 5 seconds you may have trouble. I have only played a bit so far but it seems great so i cant wait to play more.

    When loading the game, it will say loading game or something like that, with a white background. You have to tap the screen there to load the game then. The game work fine then. Took a bit to install too, but I just locked the screen and came back to it later.

    Downloaded and Installed fine. When I start the game I get a white screen with "launch cave" written in it, when I tap the screen, it turns orange and crashes after 5-10 secs.

    This is a good game, so will change the rating if and when it starts working.

    This game is simply brilliant when played with a gamepad like with the FireTV. Doesn't have the same depth and gameplay as Monkey Island, but still gave me 7-8 hours of gameplay. Brilliant value for money.

    You'll get stuck several times, and sometimes you might need to start over because you forgot to keep hold of an item.

    My only issue with this game is that the are 7 characters which means you have to play 2 twice if you want to experience the whole game, and that large sections of the game remain the same each time you play.
