I was taking atp injections in approximately 2016 but the government stopped access. I decided to try the oral form and I can say I experienced no noticeable benefit.
I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and this supplement has been quite helpful for me. The cause of CFS is still unknown. One of the hypothesized causes is that CFS is caused by a problem in the Krebs cycle, which is what produces ATP in the body. Preliminary results from an ongoing study given support to the idea that CFS sufferers have disruptions in the Krebs cycle.
On that theory, I have tried taking one of these tablets sublingually* (underneath the tongue) when I'm feeling fatigued. And it seems to work. Not immediately. It can take 10-20 minutes for me to feel any different. And if I'm at a 1 (out of 10) in terms of energy, these will take me to about a 3-5. So they're not a panacea. Not a magic cure. But for anyone who suffers from CFS, you know that when the fatigue is *really* bad, it's rare that anything at all will be helpful. To find something that can break you out of that extreme fatigue, even a little, can be quite helpful.
If you don't have CFS, I don't honestly see why you'd take these. Your body can produce ATP on its own from food, at a much cheaper price. You don't need a synthetic version. But it's your choice.
*Pills are taken sublingually because the mouth and gums are one of the quickest ways to deliver drugs through the blood-brain barrier (which is why you see people in movies rubbing cocaine on their gums).
Works well but be careful if you are using it in combination with any other anti-fatigue supplements. Used in combination with NADH, I could not get to sleep and caused insomnia for several days. Felt over alert and weird for days. Thoughts were racing. Does give you energy if you are battling fatigue, but take with caution.
This supplement is nice. You should understand what you are buying here before you buy it, though. ATP (Adenosine Tri Phosphate) Is the building block of almost everything in your body and provides energy for your body to consume. It doesn't act as caffeine does. It doesn't get you jittery it just supplies you with more body fuel.
Those of you looking to buzz around all day and run a mile a second should look into caffeine supplements or lots of coffee. :)
