Hi there! Thanks for visiting!
I've always wanted to write big-scale entertainment ever since the day I put down Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park!
At the time I didn't have access to a computer so I took an empty school notebook and in big flowing handwriting put down my first mini-thriller (100 pages) set in the mythical city of El Dorado. My idea of publishing at the time was that the one handwritten copy would be sent to every reader!
I penned other short stories and put down ideas featuring action scenes over time that would later be strung together to become Haunted. The manuscript was called Ingram and since I still didn't know how to publish, uploaded it on scribd.com and promptly forgot about it.
A year later, Ingram had garnered a rating of 4.5/5 and some 800+ reads. I immediately pulled it down, and began in earnest getting in touch with publishers. When I landed a contract, I sat and almost re-wrote the whole book - updating it, putting cellular phones into the book, being very specific about weapons and geography. I even had this complex fish-bone diagram to make sense of Ingram and translate it into a cohesive story, Haunted.
When it was done, Haunted was very well received by readers in India and outside. That spurred me on to write an adventure-thriller Secret of the Scribe, and follow it with The Apocalypse Trigger.
An ebook short, Know Thy Enemy is available for free download from my website and 2016 will see the release of another Kirk Ingram action-thriller, Diablo.
Oh, there's also a travelogue - Impressions of Egypt.
