Feature strong adhesive backs and light magnet holding power. Attract to magnetic whiteboards, file cabinets, lockers, magnetic-receptive refrigerators, and more!
Many reviewers also report using our dots to hold up small eye shadow pots with success as well! (Results vary depending on the weight of the pot and the magnetic property of the surface to which you are trying to attract the pots.)
- CONTENTS - 100 dots measuring .75 inch in diameter x .04 inch thick.

TIPS FOR USING ADHESIVE MAGNET DOTS
GENERAL DIRECTIONS (FOR MAGNETIC SURFACES)
Peel away paper backing from pliable dots. Apply dots to a smooth, flat, and clean surface. (Using on an uneven or curved surface will result in a weak magnetic hold.) Add pressure as needed to bond the adhesive.
The more dots you use, the stronger the hold. For example, to hold up a large sheet of paper or a plastic item, you may need to use multiple dots. First, start with one dot (or a dot in each corner of the paper). You can always add more dots if needed.
WHAT SURFACES ARE MAGNETIC-RECEPTIVE?
Magnets attract to many, but not all, metals (file cabinets, lockers, magnetic-receptive refrigerators, magnetic whiteboards, steel door frames, and more). The more iron in the material of the main surface to which you are attracting a magnet, the stronger the hold. Note: some refrigerators and many whiteboards are NOT magnetic.
Do not place paper between the magnetic side of the dot and your main surface. This will result in a weak magnetic hold. Adhere the STICKY side of the dot to the object you're trying to display.
DIRECTIONS FOR NON-MAGNETIC RECEPTIVE SURFACES
First, adhere the sticky side of a dot to a main surface that is non-magnetic (wooden cabinet, non-magnetic fridge, etc.) Then, adhere (using the sticky side) another dot to the object you are trying to display. Lastly, attract the two dots to one another, so your object still can hang from your main surface!
(If you remove the dot later, use Goo Gone or cooking oil to remove adhesive residue from non-porous surfaces only.)

Most of my work has been with magnetic 'strips' and these 'dots' just don't have the 'surface area' to be useful.
There are a hundred of these in the package and that's good because you're gonna need them.
It's a good idea and I wished they worked, but for most around the shop uses they go to the trash can. I can't believe I paid over 7 bucks for these.
The picture shows what looks like 'white or silver magnets' which may be misleading for some because the 'white' is the backing peal-off paper to expose the adhesive. The magnets are flexible dark brown like some business cards intended to stick on the fridge except these are very thin.
It seems a few commenters have had success with these so that makes me question the 'box to box quality' and if they all have the same strength.
Good thing I also ordered a roll of magnetic strip at the same time.
Just NOT a good product. It would hold a piece of toilet paper...
Update a few hours later: Placing the magnet with the adhesive protector still in place (facing out) allowed the magnet to slide to the floor, reversing the magnet so the paper was on the outside, the magnet held itself to the fridge. The thin paper and air gap reduced the holding power. These just don't have enough holding power.
I stick these magnets on the backs of my makeup pans - eyeshadow, blush, highlight, bronzer, etc. - and they stick great on my MAC Pro Palette. And yes, these magnets are strong enough to do the job. I tried shaking my palette about and these magnets hold on my makeup pans sturdily on my palette! No moving around at all!
You get so many magnets for a low price that it's great value for money. I'm glad I got these.
I stuck one of these magnets on the back of a nickel - and while the magnet will stick to a metal sheet, it is barely able to hold it up the weight of the coin. That should give you some idea how strong/weak these discs are.
