"This duet was beautifully written. It is filled with drama and angst, but it never seems over the top. The chemistry between Lola and Brody was evident from the start, but it was so much more to their relationship than that. You just felt the passion and intensity." - Three Chicks Blog.
"Wow Down Fall book 2 and the final part to Brody & Lola's epic rollercoaster story, does not disappoint in anyway." - Michelle, Reviewer.

"It is riddled with high octane moments that kept me on the edge of my seat paired with the sweeter/softer side, providing a front row seat to delving into all the relationships." - Cali Girls Book Blog.

"To say there are twists and turns in this book would be an understatement, there is so much happening, but it's not too much that you lose the plot and don't understand what is happening. It's brilliant how Abigail can manage to fit everything in." - Eve Jones, Reviewer.
"Down Fall starts where things pretty much finish off from the first book and the story progressed farther than I expected and didn't turn out the way I expected. Now, that is not to say it didn't turn out good, but the journey to the end was wrought with many trials, and feelings and twists I never saw coming. What a stunner!" - Marie's Tempting Reads.
"This is soooooooo stinking good. Gah. I want to wipe my memory clean just to read this all over again and fall back in love!." - NaeNae, Reviewer.

Down Fall is the finale to Lola & Brody's story.
You meet Lola and Brody in the first part to this duet, called Free Fall.
Those of you who have read the story, you all know how Free Fall's cliffhanger just about killed us.
This book starts off with Lola and Brody's separation. Lola isn't sure who Brody is anymore. She manages to leave Hut's house and find an apartment for herself. She doesn't tell anyone where she is going, because she is set on making it on her own. &Brody is set on making things work with his family. Brody decides he is finally ready to end things and take Hut down. But, nothing goes as planned, and staying away from Lola was as hard as he thought it would be.
I won't give anymore of a description, because the drama, suspense, and action galore, need to be experienced while you are reading. Along with all of the twist's and turns, & you won't be able to put this book down! I don't know what I was originally expecting before I picked this duet up, but the story in it's entirety was SO more than anyone could've imagined. It kept me hooked, and NEEDING to know what was going to happen next.
If you have read Free Fall, all I have left to say is that you need to put down whatever you are reading right now, &you HAVE to finish this duet ASAP. Lola and Brody's story is messy but brilliant. There is SO much between these pages, and you don't want to miss out on any of it, I promise.
I so happily stand by my 5 star rating for this amazing finale to a phenomenal duet!
Congratulations to Abigail Davies on her new release!
I loved Lola, a strong young woman, a real survivor, who had seen more of the seedier side of life that she should have at her age. Still compassionate despite all the hurt in her life, and determined to forge a new, positive and successful life for herself, I really hoped she would find the peace and stability she craved. Her journey was a challenging and difficult one, and when you don’t know what lies ahead, how do you prepare for the trip?
Now Brody I was not so sure of. I did not agree with the choices he made in Free Fall and the way those choices were justified by making a certain party seem volatile and nasty, did not sit well with me. It’s difficult to explain without giving away spoilers, but if I could’ve changed one thing it would’ve been for the situation to have been dealt with in a different way. I think as a reader we were supposed to dislike this person because of their reactions but I actually ended up feeling sorry for them, even if their malice was aimed at the wrong person. I did, however, like Brody as a father and began to warm to him the more time he spent with his son. I really enjoyed the interactions between him and Cade, who was a brilliant character in his own right. I’m really excited that we get his story next.
Action packed and unexpected, Down Fall is a great conclusion to this duet. Whilst there were times when I doubted that this couple would find their HEA, nevertheless I was cheering them on. I loved the shocks and surprises and the edge of the seat moments which made up this rollercoaster ride of a story. This duet may have been the first books I’ve read by this author but they won’t be the last.
Now, I wanted to give it 5 stars but there was one major-ish thing from the first book that seemed like it was very unresolved. I’m not saying it made a huge impact on the story but it was just there in the back of my head, nagging me. I won’t say what it is because again, it wasn’t huge.... just something that I wondered about after I finished. Either way I really loved this book and look forward to the next duet by this author. Fingers crossed that a lot of these secondary characters get story’s of their own. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Finally, away from Hut, hearing Brody at her door, she shouldn’t have but she opened it. With the news she just found out she needed him, she saw his eyes, but his words shattered her, and he told her love wasn’t enough for them, all Lola knew was he owed his wife she’s everything, and that she wasn’t enough.
Brody knew what he said to Lola wasn’t what he was feeling, Lola made him feel the best version of him, she was everything, he’s reason to breathe, but even with the case closed can he keep her safe because she is enough.
With Hut looking for her and Brody’s wife not happy about what happened, after everything can Brody prove to Lola that she is everything and will Lola realise she is enough and get her happy ending.

Well let me tell you that Abigail Davies does not disappoint in this book. I have just finished it and my head is in a tail spin 🙀🙀
To say there are twists and turns in this book would be an understatement, there is so much happening, but it's not too much that you lose the plot and don't understand what is happening.
It's brilliant how Abigail can manage to fit everything in, Lola and Brody, Brody and Moria, the undercover operation against Hut, and everything in between.
This series is absolutely fantastic and had me captivated from the start of book one to the end of this book.
I'd absolutely recommend this book/series as they are well written and will thoroughly captivate you, so don't plan on doing anything once you start reading these book's as you won't be able to put them down 🌟🌟💞💞
It was a rollercoaster of emotions of what would happen since book 1 left us on a such cliffhanger of OMG no way this has happened for these guys that I was so happy that it started right exactly where it left off diving right back into the angst and drama.
I dont think this could have ended in any other way that could have made me smile so much.
This author just writes such a great story every single time I'd read everything she would will ever write 100%... one click all the way!
I just hope and pray we get more for these guys in the future or for other characters involved throughout 😁
Wow Down Fall book 2 and the final part to Brody & Lola's epic rollercoaster story, does not disappoint in anyway.
Picking up right where we were left at the end of part 1, this story keeps slamming you with massive hits, twists and leaves you screaming, crying, smiling and then re-thinking all that you thought you knew after reading part 1, but we do get all the answers we have been patently waiting for.
Highly recommended read
However, Brody and Lola have such a strong bond, does any of this really stop them?
This book brings conclusions to all the open ends from book 1. Really enjoyed this duet.
There’re so many fantastic characters (good and bad), and that together with the gripping storyline had me well and truly hooked. I alternated between reading and listening to the audiobook and I must give credit to the narrators who did a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life. I can’t wait to start the next duet in this amazing series. I highly recommend it!
