When I was ordering this soap, I didn't really care to read the tiny writing all over the packaging. However, when it arrived I realized that it was covered in text that completely blasphemed God and Jesus. Do not buy this soap if you are Christian, it is a curse to have stuff like this around your house. I didn't even use it, it went straight to the trash. I will be looking for another brand that has all natural pure castile soap and I would highly recommend you do the same if you are a child of God.

One of the best, weirdest reacting shampoos that I've ever used, & still use to clean things like really dirty clothing in the wash with Oxyclean, or when the dog gets into something REALLY stinky, but ONLY a drop in her mix of Dawn Dishwashing liquid,

Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo, 2 oz Dawn to 13.5 oz Suave to .5 oz, or a splash really of the Dr. Bronners, BECAUSE it makes the entire mixture THIN, like it, instead of thickening!!!
Now, you can change the viscosity of the liquid with a teaspoon, a SCANT teaspoon or a capsule's worth of Konjac root, if you absolutely MUST have thick shampoo again, BUT then you have to be sure to keep the mixture under 80 degrees.

Dr. Bronner's soaps, all of them are this way but they are EXCELLENT in creating less abrasive, less invasive hand soaps, & the most wonderful bath soaps, so long as you don't get it in your eyes.
THEN especially the peppermint burns. It also does a number on open pored skin, so beware of trying to make it a bubble bath or you may FLY.
Honestly, you can use this all over the house in various ways, I like to add a splash to a spray bottle of water, & to use it on the front of my air intake for the AC which instantly brightens up the house without using Fabreeze like chemicals to fool the nose.

Very Good Liquid Body Soap

Though this soap may have other uses, I use it when showering and it is invigorating to say the less. I feel very clean and refresh. I might add, you may even feel a little bit energized or relaxed after use. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the cap was severed so when it's opened, the cap top completely comes off. How that happened is beyond imagination. The inconvenience of having to do a balancing act with the bottle while in the shower is a nuisance, but it doesn't dampen what I enjoy about this liquid soap. I'll find a similar cap that fits from somewhere. Also, I find that this 40 oz. bottle was the better deal compared to the 2 25 oz bottles when doing price comparisons per ounce. The next best deal is the gallon jug. I'm judging by the prices that were presented at the time I viewed these items a week ago from the date of this post.

There is a lot of literature out on this product, and most of them are quite good. With this product, a little goes a LONG way. In that way it's more eco-friendly than most soaps you can get on the market these days, and easier on your wallet as well!

Great uses:
(1) Surface Cleaner - cuts on grease decently and leaves a great minty smell about the house.
(2) Floor Cleaning Solution - Again, cleans dirt and stains well, and leaves a minty smell about the house.
(3) Dish Washing Solution - See Above.

Not so great uses:
(1) Shampoo - I definitely needed conditioner afterwards, my hair felt so dry.
(2) Dog wash - Same.

I'm writing a review for soap. And you are reading it. Think about that for a moment. Okay, this stuff is really great. The peppermint smells amazing and is a very refreshing way to start your morning. I feel really alert and awake after taking a shower with this soap. The peppermint is really strong and tingles the skin, it's almost (but not quite) uncomfortable on "sensitive areas". Again, refreshing! I'm not the kind of person who is concerned about chemicals with long names like Cocamidopropyl Betaine, but I will never go back to normal soap again.

I figured that I could save myself a couple bucks, seeing that where I live, they sell this soap for about $50. So, naturally as I received the soap I used it right away, but to my surprise, the quality of this soap is nothing like the others that I purchase from the Health Food store. The soap is all watered down, so that burning sensation that tells you that the soap is actually cleaning your body, is no longer there. I know that they did this to stretch the batch but at $40.00 a bottle, that is a rip off. I'm not too sure if the soap is of this poor quality with other sellers, but I purchased it from Quiverr just so you know.

This product arrived in a timely manner and is an excellent product. A little really does go a long way in my soft water! Since purchasing, I have used this soap, following the directions on the label very carefully, in the shower, on my face, to do the laundry, and to clean the floors at home and it has exceeded my expectations. I really do enjoy the clean and tingly feeling I get after using this peppermint soap in the shower and the way it makes the entire bathroom smell. More than feeling clean and tingly, my skin really seems to love this product. My usually picky face hasn't had a complaint yet after regular use of this soap. I did discover though that my face prefers me using my wash cloth with a bit of the diluted product on it rather than me attempting to dilute it in my hand and applying it directly to my face. Using it the latter way actually caused tiny bumps to show up on my face for some long minutes. The only time I have been less than enthused with this soap, hence the fours stars, was when I attempted washing my hair with it. Perhaps it has to do with the type of products I use in my hair or my hair texture or both, but it was a hard task getting my scalp and the hair near it as clean as I normally did with my old shampoo. Added to that, my hair also felt rather dry and I felt that the Dr. Bronner's Citrus rinse that I bought to minimize this didn't really help (and was a bit tedious to use). I will make at least two other attempts using this as a shampoo, tweaking my methods to see if this changes my results.
