About the Author

Edward T. Haslam was raised in New Orleans and is a graduate of Tulane University. His advertising career took him to Detroit where he managed advertising for some of America’s largest corporations. I had read Virus and the Vaccine and wanted to know a little more from another angle so decided to get this book. If you ever wondered why the attention on New Orleans and Jim Garrison et al in the early 60’s and how that tied in with vaccines, Oswald and Kennedy, this is the book for you. Haslam brings his personal experiences along with investigation to understand the murder of Dr. Mary Sherman. This reads better than any fictional murder mystery with plenty of powerful players and intrigue. Do yourself a favor and don’t flip to the back pages until you have read the entire book. Once you get that far, you will now understand what happened in a much clearer light. My wife asks me why I read this stuff. It is because I need to know certain things in order to protect my own health. I need to know what I am up against so I can take appropriate action. This book did fill in a couple of important facts for me and help reinforce what I had already learned about the polio vaccine and viruses and more.

Here is another extraordinary contribution to the history of the JFK assassination and the murky world of black projects that some of the main characters were involved in.
In this case, Dr Mary Sherwood died in very strange circumstances in 1964, possibly after an accident with cutting edge technical equipment. Yet her body was moved back to her home and the place was made to look like she had been murdered. If it was an industrial accident, why the subterfuge?
Dr Sherwood was working in secret projects, at first to find a vaccine against cancer, but that research might have led to an attempt to weaponise cancer. (at that time the CIA was looking for all sorts of methods to assassinate Fidel Castro). JFK assassination characters Lee Harvey Oswald and David Ferrie were involved in this research.
Remember Jack Ruby's claim that he would never go to trial because he would die before that??? He contracted a virulent form of cancer that did indeed kill him before he could go to trial for the murder of Oswald. He was adamant that this had been done to him; his cancer was murder.

The most confronting aspect of this research was the revelation that the monkey brains used in production of the polio vaccine carried a cancer causing virus. Could our modern epidemic of cancer, killing so many of those who received the polio vaccines in the 1960s, be related to that vaccine? Is a whole generation at risk of developing cancer because of a hidden virus that might have been in that vaccine so widely administered in their childhoods?
This book explores yet another thread in the convoluted story of the JFK assassination and the characters involved in it. It's very well written, and its implications are chilling.

This book is solidly researched, and skeptical at every turn. I was skeptical reading it -- but I found that Haslam matched my skepticism with his tone as he unfolds the story with increasing detail and evidence. He understates the conclusions reached, but you'd have to be blind, or brainwashed, not to come away with a slice of the truth from this book.

Absolutely fascinating!

Couldn't put it down. I'm a critical thinker - not your average (or below average) conspiracy theorist. I came to some different conclusions than Mr. Haslam, but overall I think he has all the evidence to explain JFK's murder. I think he gets hung up too much on the idea that the bio-weapons created AIDS and cancers. That's quite possible, but he doesn't have the evidence for that, and some of that could have come from the Salk vaccine without the bio-weapons "help".
What I believe he does have evidence for is to show that Lee Harvey Oswald was likely a Kennedy-direct agent sent to spy on the insubordinate anti-Cuban CIA who were aided by the New Orleans Hispanic mafia. Once you understand that, then you can see how LHO was the perfect fall guy - take out Kennedy's mole by blaming him for Kennedy's death. The president's star witness against the CIA in the Kennedy-CIA war is perfectly neutralized by becoming the prime suspect!

I grew up in Florida during the Cuban missile crisis. I found this book to trigger so many of my memories when was so accurate. I believe it to be very accurate and can be seen in our politics today. Had no idea this stuff was happening in our government so long ago. When you are done with the book it reminded me of leaving a scary picture show where you are shocked and horrified at the same time. An eye opener with facts to back it all up and areas where you must decide. I felt the author did a great job leaving it up to you.

I'm not a JFK researcher and I was glad that this book was so much more interesting than I could have imagined. Some parts of it had my jaw on the floor as I had no idea of what those scienturkeys were up to in labs with imported monkeys. The pictures in the book are quite graphic, and could be a little upsetting for some but they are key to understanding the levels of experimentation that were going on. I've never accepted that it was necessary to experiment and, for want of a better word, mutilate them and now I know why and it's the same old story...."The love of .....is the root of all evil". Anyway that is only one aspect of the book, the whole story is gripping and explains so many things we see today that is going wrong with our health and society in general. If you want another piece of the mystery solved then this will help a lot. A good read and deserves 5 stars for the research alone.
