So, yeah, I was surprised to find that I liked Nick. He may have made some poor decisions in the past, but he was a changed person. Everything he did in life, he now did for his daughter Lexi. Their relationship was sweet, and I loved reading about the two of them. Despite having a great job and Lexi in his life, Nick was still missing something. That something was Charlotte.
Charlotte was a hoot. She knew what she wanted and went for it. I loved that she had no problem putting herself out there. Charlotte had just what Nick needed. She brought spontaneity and fun to his life. I adored their relationship, including all the ups and downs. I especially liked the clever way Max Monroe created the climax.
Another thing that surprised me about this book was how little the docuseries was in it. There were mentions here and there, but it wasn't as prominent as it was in the first couple of books in the series. I didn't miss it, but I thought there would be more.
Overall, Dr. Neuro was a great romance read. It brought back some characters I've loved from past novels and introduced me to some fun new ones. Dr. Neuro was also filled with the humor I've come to expect from Max Monroe. I would highly recommend it and the rest of this series to readers who like rom-coms.
Another fantastic book from Max Monroe. This is the final installment in the St Luke's Docuseries and I'm crying because I fell in love with every character in this series.
We first met Dr. Nick Raines in the Billionaire Bad Boys series as he is the father of Lexi, Winnie's daughter. He was portrayed as a total absentee father who sends checks and visits occasionally. However, Nick finally pulled his head out of his ...., well, let's just say he got his act together and is now a part of Lexi's life.
He meets Charlotte - a head hunter who's out to get him to accept a position in California - and is intrigued. Charlotte also has had her ups and downs, including leaving a guy at the alter 12 years before.
As their relationship grows, you can see how much Nick cares for Charlotte but also how much is truly grateful to have a place in Lexi's life. Even to the point that he's willing to give up Charlotte to protect his relationship with his daughter.
Luckily for us, Winnie is the smart one of this bunch and give Nick the kick he needs to make things right.

And this? This book is awesome. I loved Charlotte and I loved Nick. How they met, how she dragged him with her to do her bidding, how they fell for one another. It was great.
And it was heartbreaking.
And then it was great.
So so good. I'm so sad the St. Luke's Docuseries is over!
I adore these two together. Goofy and sweet, she was kind of out there while he was not!
Things go great and then boom a twist! Crazy. So didn't see it coming!
But in the End, we get the HEA.
