This worked great for about 30 days. Was delighted with it.
The last 10 days, it started to show random errors on the screen, usually when I would weight heavier things like a big bowl full of tuna salad for 3. Turning it off and on solved the problems, but it was annoying.
Then while cooking, I splashed about a spoonful of water, but right on the little screen and on/off button. Again, not a whole glass, literally a spoonful of water. I dried it out with a towel immediately, but I guess a few drops got inside, because it's not working anymore.
In disbelief, I tried changing the batteries. No dice.
There is really no excuse for making a kitchen machine that can't survive a spoonful of splashed water, IMO.
