If you've read the entire series, you're truly in for a treat. With more adventure and a story line with a twist no one saw coming, you'll definitely appreciate the over deliverance in this one.

If you're grabbing this title, know that you're getting introduced to a world filled with mystical creatures, destined journeys, and enticing hurdles. Be prepared to enjoy 400+ pages of a world like no other you've ever seen and a story line that will make you wish for a 4th.

Exactly who doesn't really like a great amnesia tale, particularly when the person with all the amnesia is the supposed goddess of a whole world? Suspense doesn't wait long to sneak into Sybl's life once she gets dragged to Aster. There she quickly discovers to her delight and disappointment that not only are dragons real, but demons as well.

Sybl has to learn the hard way of exactly who she is, her past and exactly why so many extremely horrible folks are searching the her. The creatures are brought to life well, and made me think of The Daughter of Smoke and Bone mixed with the complex world and terminologies in Above by Leah Bobet. That said, you can't venture into this story without a monster guide book in hand (or mind), and the understanding that you're going to have to learn along the way. The glossary is handy if you absolutely must know everything about the creature or person trying to kill you immedietely.

Definitely one of those fantasy stories that steps off the dull path of our world and walks into one of complete escapism. While it's not for every fantasy reader, certainly those who prefer simpler, familiar plots with only a few characters, you may find it enjoyable if you're looking for something beyond that.

This is an excellent fantasy trilogy, that instantly transports you to another world and leaves you identifying with the characters. I particularly liked Cirrus, as his calm nature gives him a fearless quality, and that makes him both interesting and hard to predict with just what he will do next. Sybl was all-around fun, as a great deal of pressure is dropped on her and she has to figure out how to handle her new surroundings and acquaintances quickly without stepping on the wrong toes. A well written, very descriptive read without being repetitive.

I love a good fantasy. Wist had me completely involved. Each character was developed to a level that was believable and had me convinced that their world really existed. I would recommend this trilogy to any fantasy fan.
