GREAT GRAPHICS AND SMOOTH GAMEPLAY

I have to give a disclaimer, I am a HUGE DRAGONBALL FAN so I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the game.GraphicsThe graphics are amazing, it has a manga dimensions feel to it. Manga dimensions being the color scheme and painting style Dragonball does with some of its statues. The color is vibrant and the special effects such as lasers, aura, power-ups make the images pop off the screen. The gameplay is almost like watching the anime and you get to control your favorite character. Finally, Vegeta can be the hero that saves the day! It is very entertaining to see the full motion video scenes in-between the action.Gameplay-Replay ValueThe gameplay is very smooth, I didn’t experience any glitches or lag when stringing along the combos, It’s fun and entertaining to see your favorite character put together a string of combos and pretty much use their signature attack. The moves are pretty simple and it’s not complicated to get the hang of the buttons/moves. It’s a very fun game but it’s simplicity in controlling the character/gameplay is also its weak point, It almost becomes a button smasher. The game does get a little repetitive after extended gameplay, it’s best to play online or vs mode. That being said, IF you are a Dragonball fan then the repetitiveness is not an much of an issue. That is because as DB FAN, you will be in awe of the graphics and the fun factor of controlling your own Dragonball episode will more than make up for it.Bonus Item;The statue is very cool, it’s basically a repaint of an existing DB Goku statue but done with the manga dimensions paint scheme. The statue is well done and the detail in the face and pose are pretty cool. The statue, the bonus art steel book to store the game disc, the cool art boards and bonus characters makes this a deal. Again if you are a true DB fan, the statue is a VERY cool bonus if you were already planning to get the game.OverallGraphics: A+Gameplay: B-Replay Value: B- (if you’re a DB FAN)Replay Value for non-DB fan: C- (Non-DB Fan will find it repetitive without a TRUE single player STORYLINE mode)
