From the Author

Dive into a new fantasy!
The Dragon Dreamer series began when I put a roundish crystalline rock in the middle of my ceramic bowl, on a whim. Suddenly I knew this was a dragon's nest. A young, golden dragon appeared in my mind and flew out to sea. He crashed. My marine science background took over and an octopus appeared, the ideal ocean Healer. The award-winning Dragon Dreamer series was born!
"The Dragon Dreamer" (Book I) won IAN First Place for Best First Novel. It's also an IAN Finalist for Best Science Fiction and for Best Fantasy. Meanwhile, "Dragon Lightning" (Book II) won First Place for Best Science Fiction and for Best Fantasy. This series is for young adults 9 to 99. It's an immersive vacation in another world.

5.0 out of 5 stars A story of courage & hope, and unlikely friendships between dragons & shapeshifting undersea healers.

Love this book so much I bought a print copy and it is so worth it.

A truly wonderful story for young and old alike. It is unique in that it covers many topics, such as the barriers of language between species. It shows how some creatures are united in their love of art, science and technology. Truly amazing.

Arak is a dragon who does not quite fit in with the pack. He is after all a dreamer the other dragons mock him and call him names, they never take him serious. One day whilst out on a solo flight he is caught in a dreadful storm and crash lands upon the ice, causing himself major damage. However, thanks to a curious undersea creature called Scree (an octopus healer who just cannot swim away from a suffering creature) an unusual alliance is formed.

The story has an underlying message of being tolerant of others especially those who are different. It encourages us to live in peace with our fellow creatures. A highly recommended read a truly beautiful tale.
