The Dragon of His Dreams (MM Gay Omega Mpreg Romance) (Fires of Fate Book 2) Kindle Edition
Michael has always wished for a dragon. Kylan has always wished he wasn’t one, but when push comes to shove, can he be the dragon Michael needs him to be?
Michael is an omega with about three-hundred book boyfriends, and zero real life dating experience. He makes up for that lack with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a non-stop craving for romance. When his friend invites him to visit on the Island of Dragons, he can’t wait to go. Not only because dragons are simply fascinating, but also because everyone knows they’re the hottest creatures in the known universe. Despite this, he doesn’t expect to find the love of his life during one short vacation. He knows that only happens in books. So the shock of falling head over heels for the first dragon he meets hits him completely unprepared.
Selling wedding rings in Vegas has left Kylan’s views on romance a bit skewed. He wants it—despite the many poor examples Vegas shows him— but he knows he won’t get it as long as he can’t control the dragon within him. Finding out his fated mate is a human omega, and one who seems to call out to his inner beast, throws his life into a tailspin. He can keep his distance, and lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him, or he can give in to his baser nature, and risk losing him to his dragon.
It seems like an easy decision, until Solstice night adds a new complication that will tie them together for life.
If you like nerds, dragons, books and men who become pregnant and live happily ever after, this love story will make a great addition to your library!

Michael returns from the first book as his friendship with Adrian has continued to grow, he's finally being given permission to visit the Dragon's Island. Michael who can bearly lift his head out of a book to function daily, is about to live out his ultimate Dragon shifter romance fantasy. Last year's competition prize to bear the heir of a Dragon, he felt rightfully, went to his now good friend, Adrian. Their mutual attraction was obvious to all. It was clear that Tyrel needed a strong Omega to deal with his arrogant, narcissistic tendencies and Adrian was that Human.
Now hopefully it's Michael's turn at HEA. Adrian is going to do all he can to help his friend find his own Dragon. This proves to be a task easier imagined than accomplished. There are Dragons aplenty to choose from, but Michael can't get his mind off of a closeted shifter who does everything in his power to keep his Dragon suppressed. Tyrel's brother and Human father reluctantly return to the Island, there to give the other moral support. Kylan had lived on the mainland since he was a teenager with his father. Suppressing his Dragon became a coping mechanism after a terrifying accident. He didn't realize how much it was harming him. Actually he was denial that it was a problem - the disconnect from his Dragon.
In this book we get to know Kylan and Tyrel's father and are reintroduced to their commanding mother as a doting grandmother! Then we meet some of the Island's bachelor Dragons. (Who will we see next in future books?) Other important secondary characters are Michael's family: his older sister, sick younger brother, and hardworking mother. They have a profound impact on his live. Kylan and Tyrel aren't so lucky. The separation they experienced when their parents split up irreparably changed Kylan's life in particular. But Tyrel had lived with the mistaken guilt that his father had left because of him, and loved him less because it was his younger brother he chose to take.
There is so much going on in this book about a Dragon shifter and the Human who loves them. Do you enjoy Mpreg stories? How about Dragon shifter stories? Stories in a series with reoccurring characters? Stubborn Humans and Dragons. Being afraid not to be yourself and the negative impact that has on the lives of others.
Something I loved also loved about this book is that the main characters were book lovers who posted reviews in particular on Dragon shifter romances. Talk about irony / coincidence. I totally empathized with the feelings about the Dragon manor's gorgeous book lined library. That picture on the front cover was stunning. I could move into that room. Giving books as gifts has always been a passion of mine. Giving a book on a subject that the recipient is passionate about makes receiving & reading it a joy.
Growing up reading was my passion. I'd read whatever I could get my hands on. I was taken around the world through all that I read. I grew my imagination and vocabulary. I made friends with people who also read these books.
The public library, as well as my school library were among my favorite places. I could spend hours in a bookstore, making note of books I hoped to be able to get from the library. Now I buy them from Amazon 😀. My home is filled with bookcases📚. Next to dogs (and cats), books are man's best friends. They comfort, educate, and entertain you. Some scare you, while others make you laugh out loud. The MCs in this story were equally as passionate about books. So they've become two of my favorite characters (Dragon shifter and Human).

Michael is a bit of a dragon maniac but in a cute way. His friend invites him to the dragon island and is dead set to finally find a mate for Michael there. Kylan, born half dragon half human, struggles with his dragon side quite a bit, to the point of rejecting it even. Its nice to see him come to terms with it more and more, as the book progresses.
When Michael and Kylan first meet, Kylan recognises that he is physically attracted to Michael, thought he is a bit put of and kinda anoyed when he realises that Michael is kind of a dragon otaku, its not long till they become friends thought, and he realises that Michael is not as shallow as he first thought. Ofc it doesnt hurt, when a bit of jealousy is mixed in as well ;)
P.S this is the second book of the Fires of Fate Series. For some reason i actually started reading this book first. It can be read as standalone, but i just finished book one of the series because i was curious after reading this one, and it would have been nice if i had actually read it first.
