Was so thrilled when the author replied to my personal email inquiring would he be finishing the series. And finish he did! Fully vested in the characters so was anxious to see how it would wrap up. Hated some favs perished but reality of real life. Very pleased with the series. Well done fantasy.

I absolutely loved the first book of this series, the next 5, I wanted to break the writers fingers over and over for making the “hero’s “ look, act and be treated like imbeciles.. only then have some miracle get them out of a situation.
The last book less so, our main hero is not there, but the end he shows up to save the day.
All in all, not a bad read. And it is just my opinion of the writings,, if you like unexpected hero’s, like a little suspense, a bit of sadness, this series is a good read,
Thanks for sharing it with us..

I enjoyed this book very much. I love sci-fi and fantasy books and movies. I read them all the time. Books with elves, human, dwarves, sorcerers are my favorite .

Book 6 of this series became available in Nov 2014, I purchased it on November 26, 2014. Book 6, like the other 5 was fantastic. I wait, and wait, and wait, and wait for over 3 years for the final battle between good and evil to be available. Book 7 became available on April 1st, I purchased it on April the 9th expecting to be blown away. Big letdown, our hero Flare was only in about 20-25% of the story. The big battle between good and evil was lame, very lame. This is a very disappointing ending to a great series, I feel like the author got tired of it and just wanted to finish and be done with it.

It was more of cliff notes for the entire series with a few battles . good over evil and then nothing.

While I enjoyed the story very much, and think this author has a gift for story telling, his editor/proofreader need some serious help. For example - “re-sowed the cut by torchlight.” Um. Sow is putting seed in the ground. Sew is what he would have been doing to a cut. It’s mistakes like this that are scattered frequently in this series that turned my reviews from 5 stars to 3 stars. I hope he continues to write and is able to make sure his final manuscript is free of errors like this.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great series

I know this last book had some bad reviews, but I thought it was just as good as the previous ones. It kept me up reading later than my bedtime, lol. I found it an epic battle in the end. It went through all the characters and how they were doing leading up to the end. It wasn't just about Flare but all the guardians. Well done

Took too long for this book to come out. The main character had less than 3 chapters about hi, and too many typographical errors in the book.

A big disappointment.

Self-explanatory, rushed story, uncompelling characters, decent concept, horrible execution. And this book took 3 years to write, apparently. The only reason I read till the end was because I read the first 6 books years ago and thought I might as well finish.
