Editorial Reviews

With a deadly asteroid hurtling towards Earth, sexy human Dragonauts in tight uniforms and their curvaceous dragon companions come together to create a formidable fighting force with all the right moves. Caught in the middle of this race against time are Jin - a heartbroken young flyboy, and Toa - a voluptuous mystery woman with an amazing set of intergalactic battle skills. Jin's down about the fate of his doomed planet, but Toa is quick to grab him by the seat of his pants and lift his sagging spirits. If these star-crossed space cadets can unlock the secrets of their mysterious connection and convince the Dragonauts to join the action, there may yet be hope for planet Earth!

When the space shuttle Jin and his family are on collides with an unknown object during
launch being the sole survivor turns out to be more of a curse than a blessing. Making
matters worse the disaster is blamed on the shuttle’s pilot who just so happens to be
Jin’s father. As a result his life becomes a bleak and solitary existence until the day he
meets a mysterious girl. He may no longer be alone, but in order for them to stay
together they will have to take on government agencies, the military and a mysterious alien entity.

The animation is great, the characters are endearing, the story is intriguing and the English dub is excellent making this series a must own for any anime fan!

Be warned this anime contains fan service so it may not be suitable for children! Fan service involves bouncing breasts, skimpy bikinis, revealing clothing, glimpses of panties, brief nudity and suggestive themes.

A string of anime segments strung together with characters doing and saying things that left me wondering what the heck got cut. It's not a mystery thing, but bizarre dialogs and actions coming out of nowhere. Plot development? In a race to get things going they just gloss right over rational plotting. The first few episodes are a mess, and might have been better off cut.

The art for the series is good, but just about everything is a hash.

I absolutely love this series and as far as a good action and love story for an anime this is one of the best and it's just a plus that it is about dragons and the relationships people have formed with them. So if you love anime you will love this series and when it's over you will probably watch it again just cause you don't want it to be over.

Sweet Love Story, Good Character Design and Voice Dub, Good Animation and CGI, and Great Theme songs!
However, the thing that killed it for me was the over abundance of giant boobs on most of the female characters; and the story was a little lacking. But just a little...

That's the best summary until the last few episodes. They even have humor mixed in. Its a quasi love story between 2 different species. One from guilt, one from loneliness. Mechanized dragons attached to humans through a psychic bond.

I liked it. It was different. Minus one star for the weird storyline and episodes

The people who bonded with dragon. They become the dragon riders and close friends. The dragon in human form become what the rider want the most. In short the is good. Like any story it has up and down.Dragonaut: The Resonance - Complete Series S.A.V.E.

This looked like one of those anime series that would be boring unfortunately it kind of was in the beginning, but the plot was good and the character connections were rapid. The price is worth it considering it was the whole series. If you can make it through the first disk of the four disk collection you will enjoy the series too. I give this product a 5 star review because I received it in less than 48 hours "which was AWESOME by the way" and the anime was of high quality and met my expectations. If you like the semi-mecha, sci-fi, romance like animes this one is for you.

I'm sad to say this surprise buy anime I went out on a limb and bought it and was sourly disappointed with my purchase. I from time to time buy anime cuss of the cover rather then reviews thinking it will be good based on looks I'd recommend not watching this anime unless you like mediocrity. The story awkwardly starts with the two main characters with no story development to give you a sense of where they have come from and the only thing you know is the chick saves the boy who's parents just got killed in a space launch to the moon. Its so random and then you watch this anime only to be more confused by them being chased by and strange organization. Its just awkward awkward. All the characters are underdeveloped. the story is weird and off putting and I cant put my fingure on it but the look of the anime is really all it has going for it. Some of the characters don't even know what they themselves are really their for its retarded lol. Anyways don't buy this unless you like looking at characters that just look pretty and uninteresting.i would like to add the draganaut crew that chases them starts question there own motives of why their doing it typical. Anyways the characters which there are many have terrible story development except the main girl hooking up with the guy main char. its just crap.
