Great detailed writing.
My only complaint, and I think another reviewer mentioned it, was that I wish we got more romance. I felt a bit too much was put into the procedural aspect of the story and not enough on the actual romance until close to the end.
Overall good read though and HEA.
Talon is sent to find his true mate but in a twist his mother helps Draakar find his on earth as well. This unselfish act causes her to drain her powers and she dies to help Talon and Draakar save their kind.
Talon links with Draakar's true mate Maya. Maya is clueless that she's a dragon and the most powerful female. Talon knows he must find his mate and escapees but not before he is Iinked with Maya, so she will be able to be linked with Draakar.
When Draakar and Maya meet they have a hostile beginning. Maya's dragon is angry that Draakar didn't wait on earth to mate with her. She has to die a lonely death over and over during the time Draakar is mated with his first mate. Maya is being stalked by an ex, Justin who is actually the destroyer. He wants to mate with her to strengthen his powers, but she's the true mate of Draakar.
Thus, a bunch of predictable things happen. Justin sneaks back into her life and kidnaps Maya. Of course, not very original. Anyway he goes to another realm with Draakar is hot pursuit. Draakar finds her they mate and save their kind.
Some grammar mistakes but very few.
Started off pretty good
A few original story lines. The story with Draakar's son was original.
I couldn't see the love connection. Where's the steamy need? He hadn't had her in a thousand years!
Even the shower scene, which had potential to be hot turned into a dud. What woman would not want to know the essence of a naked man. Well the author ended this scene oddly and without letting us know.
The author repeatedly stated or made it known he was not feminine. He was all male. Using those words. Show us through story telling.
Predictable. The villain kidnapping the woman of his desires isn't original.
Interrupting a love scene with a phone call or some other gimmick isn't original.
Very very Vanila. The author says sensual but it's Vanila.
The use of the words. 'Core, sliding downward, laid her horizontal, his pleasure center, middle of her body' just aren't very sexy!
The first love scene was about 80% in. And it involved the aforementioned words when described.
