If one is completely honest, books like this are not supposed to be super deep when it comes to the plot, so don't expect that. There is a fine line that needs to be tip-toed while writing a book like this, and this book delivers. People really want one things from books like this: heat. The chemistry is there and the plot moves us along just far along to facilitate more heat. It's a good read, and the series of books that make up Dragon's Law all work together quite well.
This isn't "War and Peace." It was never supposed to be, but for what it was written for, it is truly great. Two thumbs up.

This is the first book by alicia sparks that I've read and unfortunatly it will be the last.I love all things dragon, but this had to be the worst book I've read. Too much woe is me from both caracters.I found Kira spineless and truthfully I felt like drop kicking her in the head quite a few time,as for Damon, back and forth with the" I can't have her but I must." got I my nerves. It's to bad because it did have promise but that petered out almost imeadiatly. I don't recomand even picking this book up let alone buying it.

That's what this book felt like.

Dragon brothers fight over a girl. Girl gets bit and sent to earth by evil dragon brother.

Good brother searches the ends of the universe for her. Finds her at sci-fi type convention that also unveils her video game that has dragons in it.

They find each other against all odds, have some steamy moments, and the evil dragon brother becomes good (because he finds true love!).

My book cover has some cheesey looking digitally-rendered stiff-looking characters (like a video game). Mine is so bad, it's good!

Ehhhh, it was okay. Beam me away...

This promised to be a great story. However, it was not well edited & didn't live up to the promise it held. Don't pay full price - borrow it if you can.
