This product is a lifesaver! Does not make you drowsy at all and is a cure all for motion sickness. I take as directed before anything I know I may get motion sickness with and it works like a charm (30 mins before hitting the rides at Disney, Universal, etc) and no issues! I take in the AM and midday when at amusement parks to prevent issues. I could never ride even one ride without it. With it, I can go on all the crazy rollercoasters. I hope it helps you too!

They work great. I have always given really bad motion sickness and always have to keep mints or mint flavored gum with me at all times, although those don't always do the trick. Regular Dramamine works but always knocks me out. Therefore, not allowing me to drive or participate in many things. I tried these on a recent trip to Missouri, with lots of winding roads & hills and I did not have any ill effects from the drive. I was even able tho read a book on the way home and turn around and look backwards as we drove, which are both things that I have NEVER been able to do before without it making me sick! I keep these with me at all times and have not had motion sickness since I have discovered them.

This is a great alternative for me when I am taking shorter trips during the day,1-2hours away on windy roads. But if it is early morning and I need to go to the airport,ride the tram car and then get on a plane or, hop out of bed for a long trip...I need to take the regular Dramamine...This will not keep me from getting motion sick then. But it is nice to know it works on some trips and I don't have to be tired when I arrive!

Not sure why it's still called Dramamine, as this product truly is just gingerroot in a slightly smaller capsule than standard gingerroot capsules. BUT, my family has relied on regular gingerroot for years, for everything from digestion, indigestion, belly aches, nausea and motion sickness and swear by it. This product is slightly easier for my son to take than our regular gingerroot capsules, with the same amount of milligrams in a smaller capsule. It has been wonderful for the bus to and from school. Also, for best results you must take with a small snack or meal and plenty to drink to wash it down. For those that experienced spiciness, or burning sensation, it was likely from not drinking enough water or liquid with it. Upon doing so, you won't experience those unpleasant effects at all.

I get everything sickness and when I had to fly across the country these were a lifesaver. I'm a dramamine fan, but these worked better than I ever would have thought. Never saw the ginger kind on the east coast so when I came across them in the west I was intrigued. The flight back east I was able to read!!! That might not sound exciting to most, but for me it was a 5 hour "party". I hate to fly and with no motion sickness having the ability to read took my mind off the flight. Within the hour of landing I was on Amazon looking for more.
