The bad - as others have mentioned, the holes are drilled and chamfered for a #10 screw, or so it would seem. There are a series of round holes and elongated holes - the #10 screws fit perfectly in the round holes and snug down exactly as you'd want. Unfortunately, the elongated holes allow the screws to slip right through if they go in at even the slightest of angles. I tried a dozen times to get any of the elongated holes to work and they simply didn't. I ended up welding a stud to one of the elongated holes, grinding it smooth on the track side, and using that. I had to do this on one side because I had already drilled the hole in the Jeep and didn't want to drill another. For the other side, I just drilled my own hole in the slider to use instead of trying to make the stupid elongated holes work. If the manufacturer made the opening in the elongated holes just a little narrower, the screws wouldn't fall through as easily and this would be much easier to use - or better yet, just make all the holes perfectly round.
In all, I'd buy this product again and just know that the elongated holes are a little difficult to use.

According to my packing list, the slides were provided to Darwin Design LLC by D. B. Roberts Company. Called D. B. Roberts and the first man that I spoke with and asked about mounting procedures, told me he was not an Engineer and could not help. He referred me to a salesman, who could not help either, but told me to call Amazon.
I then went to the Darwin LLC website. Could not locate a phone number, but was provided a contact email captioned, Were here to help. Sent two different emails and never received a reply in return.
I would like to purchase another set of 500 lb. capacity sides, but not like these.
