This set of 6 Black Uni Pin Fineliners includes a 0.05mm, 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.3mm, 0.5mm and 0.8mm technical pen, ideal for producing different line widths when drawing. Uni Pin Fineliner Pens are ultra fine markers with smooth flowing ink that features superior water resistance, so once it dries, the ink will not smear, even if water is spilt on the page. Absolutely waterproof, non-fading, lightfast and with wonderful tips with which to draw. No idea if they are archival but they are supposed to be acid free which simply means that the ink is PH neutral and should not cause your paper to deteriorate over time if you have gone to the trouble of sourcing archival papers on which to work. Being light resistant makes the Uni Pin Fineliner a great art tool as work can be displayed without fading even under continuous exposure to light. Uni Pin Fineliners are ideal for graphics and technical drawing.

Pros: The peek-a-boo "window" in the caps, allows you to see the pen nib size. Each pen nib size is clearly labeled on the caps in easy to read white numbers. The pen barrels are pretty much the same width as a average writing pen & comfortable to hold.
Cons: They do not draw & disperse ink consistently. I've never had a felt tip stutter & stop working mid stroke like these do. I can get approx 1/2" to 1" into a crisp saturated black line and then it just abruptly stops drawing. As in no ink coming out at all. After setting pen aside for a 30 minutes I can pick up the same pen and it will draw again in full saturated black for another 1" length before crapping out again. Every pen in this pack performed the same way.
This experience left me with no desire to purchase ANY Uni product again.
I believe the whole point and function of a liner pen is to pull long consistent lines. I have seen better results from Dollar store junk pens. If you are a professional artist,- You will be very unhappy if you buy these pens. I found them to be a waste of time & money. I'd never recommend these to anyone.
You can say they are my new favorite pens!
