In the fourth book of Barbara Hinske’s ROSEMONT series we find Maggie & John finishing their honeymoon and planning to return under unusual cirmcumstances. After all, the city’s pension fund is still missing and proof of wrong doing on Frank Haynes’s part cannot be found; only his henchman, Delgado seems to be involved.
Nicole, Loretta’s youngest child is gravely ill and there is a strong likelihood that she is the half-sister of Maggie’s children. David Wheeler and his mother are in financial trouble and must vacate their home and find another place to live.
In the meantime Frank Haynes is becoming a nice guy, is this possible? What does Frank want, besides Rosemont? And then there is Susan, Maggie’s daughter who is madly in love with Aaron, the doctor, and where is their romance going?
Barbara Hinske spins a marvelous tale, full of the characters you’ve come to know and love in her previous 3 books. The 4th book just adds to the suspense and there is still a 5th book coming. Oh my, I can hardly wait.
I could not put this novel down until finished. There was a definite mystery plot written amid the suspense and drama of the family and a hint of an antagonistic event in the future. The series is a must read and I believe in order. Thanks so much for these wonderful stories.
