However, when Kerri got to Woodland Creek, I liked that the author didn’t make her instantly fall head over heels literally the second she entered Woodland Creek and met Warren. It wasn’t instant break up, leave town, fall in love. Although she ‘accidentally’ met Warren right away, and they were instantly attracted to each other, there was still a very sweet time frame where he just sat back and waited for her previous douche bag to completely leave her life and her heart.
And by the way, I think the author did use ‘douche bag’ and several other hilarious descriptions for her ex, and descriptions that Warren and his cousin used on each other. It added to the fun of the book, how the two of them and Kerri’s instant BFF/roommate at college (who also knew Warren and his cousin since they were kids) joked around with each other -- and definitely helped Kerri a bunch more when things got real about Woodland Creek.
Although there were some tense moments, this wasn’t meant to be an action-packed book. It was about early twenty-somethings going to college, one in a whole new town, finding themselves and each other. There were definitely some heart-racing in a sexy way scenes, but well placed, and I loved them. I really enjoyed this book and getting to know these characters.
So when your not happy with your life you change it and off to a college and teaching job in another city
Her move to Woodland Creek (a town full if shifter the humans know nothing about) was not as smooth as she hoped. She got into a car wreck and had to be saves landing in the arms of the sweetest shifter around . It was the first of many amazing changes to her life.
I am a first time reader for M. C. Cerny. I got to say I love her writing. The storyline is great, the characters are fantastic and there is action and drama what more could you want.
ThevBook is written in the first person if that's helps any. I really enjoyed this story
Book gifted for an honest review and I honestly loved it.
Thankfully the citizen of Woodland Creek aren’t all human and the locals are able to save her before anything to bad can happen but her car is missing a door. Warren can’t deny that he’s drawn to Kerri in a way he’s never been before, and can’t seem to let her go. While shifters typically don’t date humans Warren is about to change the go against the pack plan and fall for Kerri. However how will Kerri deal with the fact Warren isn’t as human as she thought.
I found myself connecting with Kerri a lot more than I expected because we both had a very similar toxic relationship. Thankfully she gets the chance she needs to get away from her now ex to start over being able to do what she wants to be happy as well as find someone who loves her for her. I love Warren he’s not your typical shifter he’s super adorable with his shifting issues and the fact that he wasn’t a player like his cousin I found appealing. I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two it was sweet yet steamy.
I’ve been burning through the Woodland Creek series what’s not to love about 30 unique shifter novels by 30 unique authors most of which I haven’t read before.Read more ›

I learned with Flashpoint that M.C. Cerny does not shy away from a complex story. Dream Catcher is no different. Ms. Cerny's writing is precise and relatable. Read morePublished 7 months ago by Jenni Moen
