This is the first book I've read by this author, but it definitely won't be the last.

Just days before Sara plans to leave for a ten-year class reunion, she begins seeing inside peoples' dreams. Some of the dreams she's witnessing are those of classmates she's about to be reunited with. There's never a dull moment in Sara's house with five kids, a hard-to-manage medical practice and friends and family dropping in at regular intervals.

I loved Sara's voice - she speaks to the reader in a conversational and no-nonsense way that I found endearing. And the simmering relationship she has with her husband, Brian, is just great. I found the book very enjoyable - the touching family moments, the realistic conflict and financial problems, and the suspenseful twists and turns that constantly kept me reading. I highly recommend this book and will definitely pick up the other books in the series.

Sara is getting ready for her college ten year reunion when she once again finds herself in someone else's dream. Someone she knows is getting ready to ruin his life, but Sara can't see who. This time the gift comes with a steep cost, and her husband, Brian, isn't behind her. It could cost her everything.

J.J. DiBenedetto again weaves a story of mystery and intrigue as Sara Alderson tries to piece together exactly who she's seeing in her dream, and more importantly, what she needs to do about it. The character of Sara has evolved in six books from college student to doctor, wife, and mother of five. Throughout each book, she's faced danger as she confronts the dreamers she observes - murderers, adulterers, friends with problems. The dreams take their toll on Sara as she is drawn in and must decide again and again, how to intervene. One wrong move, plant one bad idea in someone's mind, and she could change someone's life forever.

I've loved all six books, and I can't wait for more from this author. With any luck, book number seven will be out in a few months.

I received an ARC copy for review.

Dream Reunion, the sixth book in the Dream series will have your heart and mind once again completely absorbed from the very 1st page. J.J. DiBenedetto continues to amaze with his beautifully told story of Sara Alderson and her family. We have now followed Sara as she has finished college, married and has children, and has her own private practice along with her old friend and mentor, Laurie. Each turn of the page brings us a new and exciting adventure, as well as a touching and romantic love story to be held in our hearts forever.

In this installment, we follow Sara in the post days of the 911 tragedy. As with each other book in the series, Sara is doing her best to be all that she can be when it comes to her husband, children and extended family. As always though, just as Sara is beginning to relax, she once again starts having the dreams that will take her to places she never imagined, or wanted, to be.

When Sara awakens one morning and realizes that she has just been in the dream of someone close to her who is about to commit a horrible crime, it becomes a race against time to find out what is going on, and how to save her friend before it’s too late. But, who is the friend she is dreaming of, and how is she going to stop them without letting them know about her dream ability?

A non-stop, heart wrenching, adrenalin filled escapade into the life of the woman we have grown to love as one of our very own family members. As each page turns, our bond with Sara and the others become cemented in time, and we find ourselves wanting to leap into the pages ourselves and do all that we can to not only help Sara with solving the toughest of problems, but to also feel for ourselves the love that she and her wonderful family have for each other. We find through this installment, that sometimes, facing our own trials of the past, can help lead ourselves, as well as others, into a beautiful future.

Sarah and Brian's lives are progressing and believe it or not, it is time for Sarah's 10 year college reunion. She is excited to reunite with all of her old friends. Only, once again, Sarah's dreams predict the future of one of her classmates, someone who has gotten himself into a lot of trouble and Sarah believes she is the only one who can help. The mystery is, which one of her classmates is the one who needs the help so desperately and how will she be able to come to someone's rescue without risking her relationship with Brian.

This book was lots of fun as I got to catch up with some of my old favorites from the early books. DiBenedetto also does a wonderful job of progressing Sarah and Brian and their family through their lives. Besides the paranormal twist, their day-to-day lives seem realistic and believable. At the end of this book, there are hints at some changes coming down the road for the Aldersons. I especially appreciate the caring relationship the parents have with their large household of 5 children, surrounding them with love and loving people in their lives.

This is another great installment in the lives of the Aldersons, and I am anxious to see what the next chapter brings.

I love that the author used a notable time to make this story feel more real. Since Sara's husband works at the pentagon it is only natural that the 9-11 tragedy was made reference too. The after affects of this disaster are playing havoc with the woman of Sara's family as they dream about the people they know or have met. Its time for a school reunion and Sara is drawn into a dream about arson and is at a loss to stop it from happening. The gift of the seeing dreams have always taken a tole on Sara and Brian's relationship but this one seemed to tip the scale. They are always so happy and this was the first time they had a blow up fight like normal couples. The story was well written and I enjoyed getting to see familiar characters however, I did not like this story as well as the others. Usually I can see Sara's side of the argument and agree. However, this time I sided with Brian and feel Sara is starting to get a GOD complex. Yes she has been given a gift and she is supposed to try and help people but the word to focus on is "try". Her attempt to help this time cost her family something they did not have to give and added pressure to an already tense situation. Her husband is a saint and I give him kudos for putting up with the craziness but something is going to have to give soon or this story will end badly. Even though it was not my favorite, I still enjoyed the next chapter of their lives and look forward to seeing where the author is going.
