Dreamfoam 8-inch Memory Foam Mattress - Full
A firm feeling mattress that provides all the benefits of memory foam at a very attractive price. The memory foam minimizes pressure points to relieve discomfort and helps to reduce tossing and turning for a better quality sleep. Our mattresses are 100% made in the USA and are only compressed for a short period of time, which helps to minimize off gassing. All other competing products are made in China and compressed in a box that sits for months, increasing the amount of off gassing and potentially harming the mattress.
The Dreamfoam 8-inch memory foam mattress features a two-layer design: a 2-inch premium memory foam comfort layer followed by a 6-inch high-density base layer. Together they provide excellent comfort and support not found in traditional mattresses. Our American-made memory foam provides the same comfort and quality of all major brand name competitors without the outrageous prices.

OK fine you say, it doesn't stink, how about the comfort level?
Comfort is exactly what I am getting with this DreamFoam 8inch Memory Foam Mattress. My Serta has been sagging for the last 4 years so I ended up carting it away and replacing it with this DreamFoam, just placing it on top of the Serta box springs. After a few days of using, the size evened out in the edges and everything fit like a glove. The included free pillows were not to my liking, with both actually smelling much stronger than the mattress. That's fine as I wasn’t planning on using them anyway.
I personally go for a firmer type of mattress and was a bit worried this one wouldn't give me the support I need, being a tall and somewhat heavy person. I find it is just as comfortable as my previous Sealy Posturepedic Firm. Of course, since it is a foam product there are certain things that differ from conventional mattresses, but once you become used to it you will find yourself getting some of the best sleep you ever had and with a back that will thank you in the morning as well.
As others are posted, make sure you are ready for your mattress to expand before opening the package. It is just a bit tricky but a little advance planning goes a very long way. This is a good product.Read more ›
o Very affordable
o Made in the USA!!!
o Quality seems excellent
o I like the included memory foam pillows
o Not as "plush" as I was hoping
Bottom line: Overall, I am satisfied, given the price and the fact that it is made in the USA. I ordered on 1/31, it shipped on 2/1, and arrived on 2/8. I have slept on it for a week and a half, and have slept well. I would buy it again.
However, I was *hoping* that it would be more plush (a.k.a. softer, less firm). I weigh 185 so I'm not a lightweight, but I don't feel like I really sink in to this mattress much. The sensation is more one of laying on top than sinking in. I mean, I do a little, maybe a couple of inches or so. But I was hoping based on the reviews I had read that I would feel more "enveloped", as I am a side sleeper and tend to like a softer mattress. All of that said, I realize that "firm" and "soft" are VERY subjective, and what I consider "firm" could very well be considered "soft" by someone else. It's too bad there isn't an objective measurement that would numerically represent the firmness of a memory foam mattress. But I knew all of this when I ordered, so no surprises.
I was curious if this would be arriving with an IKEA-style wood frame, as it appears in the product images, with the product title being bed. This is only a mattress, with pillows. It is still a great value, and I would recommend that anyone ready for a new mattress try memory foam; if you like the memory foam mattresses, then DreamFoam Bedding, made right here in the United States, appears to be the more economical way to do it. I highly enjoy it.
While obviously much firmer than what I'm used to, the DreamFoam sits somewhere between truly firm and soft. It's a low-density foam, which means it quickly conforms to pressure with none of the bounce of a traditional spring mattress (almost comically the case when my 7yo tried to bounce onto it like her old mattress). I tried it out for several naps and a couple nights and have become enamored with it: I moved less and slept better, as has also been the case for my 7yo (in fact her behavior has also improved - a hallmark of better sleep). I was concerned I'd be too hot on a foam mattress, but the DreamFoam seems to have better technology than the old foam mattresses and radiant heat wasn't an issue.
When the mattress arrived, it came in what looked like an oversized poster tube and I thought surely I had been mis-shipped. But upon sliding it out and cutting open the vacuum-sealed packaging, it quickly inflated to full size and within a few hours had firmed into its final shape. Unlike other foam mattresses I've seen, this had very little chemical smell and that was completely gone by the time it was fully formed that evening. The mattress came with two pillows which did (and do) have a heavier chemical smell, but they were over-full and very hard compared to traditional down pillows and we haven't used them.
I am very impressed with the DreamFoam mattress, especially for its price.Read more ›
