The blades bend easily - which is great for baby fingers and toes getting into them, but not great for producing a breeze.
With the whole battery acid leaking bit ... also, not good for babies.
I maybe get 2 or 3 twenty minute cycles out of each battery change.
Not sure if mine is defective, or this is just how they are.
Save you money and get a better fan.
My only complaint is that seen by other reviews that to replace the batteries you need a screw driver. I read other reviews and I just simply removed and toss the screw. During my week long trip, I only lost 1 battery. Because the fan was pretty much on all the time, I did have the replace the batteries every day or two but that is expected when this thing is chugging along all day.
We also got complemented on it a LOT! I totally dont regret the buy!

Update: I still use this fan a year later with only 2 blades however my toddlers head got close to the fan on the stroller and it sucked her hair into the crease behind the blade, it yanked out her hair by the roots. I will no longer be using this.
There are some downsides though. I can confirm some of the negative comments other reviewers have said:
- Hair can get caught up behind the fan. My 3 year old got her hair sucked up by behind the fan within a few hours of unboxing. She ended up yanking out a bunch of hair.
- There are exposed wires behind the clip. Could be a hazard.
- The batteries are annoying to change. A small screwdriver is required to access the batteries, which is inconvenient considering the frequency the batteries might need to be replaced.
This fan is probably best for infants (or adults), clipped far enough from reach. But not so great with toddlers, especially ones with long hair.
Bad: Clip doesn’t attach very sturdy to anything, the battery pack gets in the way.
The neck is flimsy and you have to keep an eye on the angle because it can hit itself.
Good: steady breeze! Very soothing for rides. I use on the car seat and my LO is very comfortable. It was worth the money.
I would like to explore other fans, as this is pretty basic and has some technical difficulties. Would I recommend? If someone couldn’t find anything else, it’s not bad. And it’s cheap.
Nice big clip, quire sturdy.
Soft fan blades so you don’t have to worry about hurting baby.
Aside from that, it does blow a fairly good amount of air, and it will not hurt your baby if they touch the blades.
I found it would slip off car seat handle or anything too big so actually clip it to the fabric round the side of the car seat.
