The Dreamcast was Sega's last hardware console, and it entered with a bang back on 9/9/99. No one had seen 3d polygonal graphics this realistic on a console before. And for the first time ever we got a Sonic title in REAL 3d (take that, Sonic 3d blast.) Remember the fun you had hooking up its included dial-up modem so you could converse with other Dreamcast lovers around the world, submit your fastest times, and download holiday themes for your game to your VMU?

Well, over a decade has passed now, and time has not been gentle to the world's fastest hedgehog. While the resolution has been improved, Sonic Adventure is still stuck in a 4:3 format. The cutscenes are a pain to watch, although not as painful as playing as Amy Rose or Big the Cat. The hub world is clunky and cumbersome to maneuver through. Racing as Sonic is no longer as jaw-dropping as it once was, and the bad control shows its age. It's hard to believe I once considered this one of my favorite games.

Okay, how about Crazy Taxi? First the good news: It's in widescreen HD. Now, the bad: No Offspring. No Bad Religion. Instead, the original catchy tunes are replaced by some forgettable garage band punk tunes that completely contrast with the spirit of the game. While driving frantically from point A to point B still has its merits, it feels like a washed-out experience compared to playing the original Dreamcast or arcade game.

Space Channel 5 Part 2 at least offers the biggest laughs you'll find here. (I mean that in a good way.) Nothing feels better than dancing with a growing group of friends to extinguish invading aliens. The gameplay is simple, while the rhythm is harder to duplicate correctly than the first game. Although you won't find much replay value, it's a hoot to play through the first time.

I was happy to see these games work on the xbox one. It's a lot of fun to go back and play games from my childhood. I was a little disappointed that the music in crazy taxi was not what I remembered. No offspring or other popular bands.

Love this collection! Crazy Taxi kinda sucks because they've taken the original soundtrack out of the game and replaced it with some cheesy fast rock that doesn't sound good to the ears at all. Other than that everything works great and it brings back lots of memories of my dead old Dreamcast.

This is a great blast from the past for the price. The only thing that would've made this better is if they also included Daytona USA (from my perspective anyways). I think the price point is the trick here for determining its true value.

Bought this game to revive my childhood, they could of done better with the mechanics of the game, however, still not a bad re-do, surprising how they done one at all. Sonic feels a bit on the lame end of the scale, Pro Bass's mechanics don't quite meet the original's standards, and Crazy Taxi is still fun despite the joystick's speed.

Bought for a Xmas gift. Daughter loves Dreamcast. Bought it for crazy taxi. Haven't tried it yet. Did not realize I was buying a new game. Very pleased that it is new. Also can't beat 2 day free prime shipping.

This is a nice collection to just pick up and play with Sonic being the longest title. I definitely miss the Crazy Taxi original soundtrack, but the game is till a blast to pick and play.

As of this wiring this game is $7.76. That's cheaper than Sonic Adventure on the DC costs alone. Dont complain about what's not included that's a good price already. Is it harder than most modern games? Yup, get over it.
