This is not at all a quality dreamcloud product it is just plain horrible! Not 15 inches, sinks in the middle, non tufted loose floaty top, collapsing sides and protruding coils. And this thing weighs a ton! I question it's authenticity because the materials are nothing like my mothers identical model of mattress she purchased last year. It came in thin plastic wrap in a plain brown box with no dreamcloud markings on it!

Update: we were extremely disappointed and angry when we unboxed this mattress. After waiting a few hours for it to fully expand I broke out the tape measure again and, lo and behold this thing matched the measurements of a California King Size mattress when it finally fully expanded! We went out to inspect the box and there were no labels on exterior that Indicated this and nothing on the invoice. On closer inspection I noticed a set of letters in green sharpie on the base of the box that were just 4 letters "DCCK" . After seeing that, we then understood that code meant Dream Cloud Cali King. I immediately called Amazon and was offered a $100 gift card and refund but we would have to return the matress. After some back and forth with customer service and trying to make her understand that it was moved into the room vacuum packed and now that it is expanded it cannot be removed from our 5th wheel Trailer Master Bedroom without being destroyed (cut in half) and that we can't even use the room with the size of matress, she then refunded the matress in full with no return. Aside from a language barrier during this process, she was very understanding in the end. So now I'm in process of cutting a hybrid matress in half to get our room back. Again, the matress is very very heavy, sags in the middle but doesn't smell. It would be a good single person matress just not for couples with the sag. It does a really good job on any pressure points for side sleepers (me) and my wife says same but we have to sleep 3 feet apart to stay out of the bowl in the middle. . I'm 210 lbs my wife is 110 so we are not huge people updating review to 3 after Amazon fixed this and having slept on matress for a week.

Original Post: This matress was the biggest waste of time and money and because is so flipping heavy and came vacuum packed, sending it back is a non-possibility. First: we ordered a queen to replace a queen in our Fifth Wheel. Our existing mattress was a True queen. this matress is 3 to 4 inches bigger in every dimension. Now we can't open closets or dryer or drawers in room. Second: Mattress sags in the middle immediately. 2 people on this will be sleeping in a bowl. Third: This is by far the heaviest mattress I've ever moved including a king tempurpedic. The ONLY positive about this entire thing is it doesn't smell. If the manufacturer does not contact me to resolve this they will be dealing with the bank and Amazon.

I felt completely duped after finding out I received a different version of the mattress then I anticipated. The newer version is only 6 layers vs 8, came in a cheap cardboard box instead of huge black duffle bag , and at best is 13 inches in height.

All the product reviews I saw on the internet were about the original version, and Dreamcloud’s website certainly did not advertise that the design was changed significantly.

I bought this mattress two months ago and I’m still bitter. I put a 3 inch memory foam topper underneath the
mattress, which now makes it 15 inches and I’m happier. Of course that was an extra $150 bucks but at least I didn’t have to go through the major headache of “attempting” to return it.

False advertisement/poor quality - don’t waste your money

Mattress not worth it and customer service is horrendous. Purchased a dreamcloud a little over a year ago and absolutely loved the mattress. It was the most comfortable mattress my husband and I ever slept on and we were 1000% satisfied. The mattress was luxurious with a cashmere top and was elegantly tufted. A year later, the mattress started to dip near one of the edges. It became uncomfortable so we called dreamcloud and explained the defect. They agreed that it was a defect and sent us a new mattress a part of the warranty. Unfortunately, the mattress that they sent as a replacement wasn’t close to the original mattress that we ordered and paid $1200 for. The new mattress did not have a cashmere top, it was not tufted, it did not have sidewall support and it was flimsy (it almost folds in half when you pick it up). The worst part is that it lacks the “cloud like” comfort and support of the original mattress. It did not feel like a luxurious mattress and at best it felt like a mediocre hotel mattress. We called dreamcloud and explained our situation and they said that they changed their original mattress, the dreamcloud one, to the dreamcloud 2. They said that the quality of the new mattress is better. Unfortunately, the quality is not better and it’s quite obvious that they cheaped out by removing the cashmere top, tufts, sidewall support and the overall comfort of the mattress. We requested that they send us the dreamcloud one (the one we original had) and they said that they don’t manufacture that one any longer. We then asked for our money back as we did not receive the same product that we ordered and they refused. Very, very disappointed with this company and their product that they now sell and market as a quality and luxurious product. At best, it’s a $600 mattress that’s not comfortable. Sorry for the long post, but I believe people should be warned and not tricked into a “quality” mattress when they removed all the quality and still sell it for the same price. Save your money and shop for another mattress that truly is comfortable and worth $1200.

The mattress seemed nice at first. But now it is soft and mushy and simply terrible. Upon contacting Dreamcloud they offered me a firm mattress topper that would fix my problem - but the bed is already 15" thick and hard to fit sheets - the last thing I need is adding more to it, just to cover up a crappy mattress. Dreamcloud says Amazon purchases only have a 180 day trial, but at the time I purchase it, Amazon showed the SAME 365 DAY TRIAL. Now I am stuck with a piece of garbage and getting the total run-around from Dreamcloud. Absolutely sickening. Their customer service is just as bad as their mattress!
