The story begins with rancher Torsten (Torn), the male lead. He is at the train station waiting with friends, to meet his mail order bride Ginny. As Ginny gets off the train, she sees her intended being hugged by another female. From that point , the story gets interesting as assumptions create for misunderstandings. With someone trying to cause trouble in the city, emotions and jealousy go out of control.
I was curious about the notes that Ginny found. I had an idea about how she would receive them. But, wanted to know more about them. I also understand people must keep proper appearances in front of people. But this also creates tension and at times I didn't like Torn's personality.
Narration by Charles D. Baker was once again magnificent. I enjoyed the clean voice, the tones, the accents, and the emotions in the different characters. He makes the stories and characters come alive. ♡

The above may make you wonder how in the world I could give this book anything but 1 star with not liking certain things... easy, I appreciate the author's attempt in giving me a full view of things even if I feel it fell short in some areas. THE OVERALL story was entertaining even if quite predictable. Also, leaving no cliff hangers adds points in my book, especially at the close of a series book!!
I wouldn't have read any if I hadn't gotten a start with one free/borrowed because Kindle Unlimited is worth it's price when you get books like the above one but when I pay extra just to buy it so I finish a series. . . that fault can only be my own.
Authors please check into Kindle Unlimited as some of us are running out of book money and we don't want to leave you behind!
