Not since reading Loren Eiseley and Carlos Castaneda have I been so moved by a book. Gini Gentry has such a graceful, fun style of writing and the situations and circumstances are so relatable to our everyday lives. She leaves nothing out in describing the inner workings of "Gigi's" mind and how after years of conditioning and training "we" bury ourselves in a false life that literally drags us into torment and struggle.
This book is a gift to the senses! It is a "tell all" but most important it is a cure all for a less than "grand" life. The "Twelve Keytones" are powerful pointers to our conditioning as humans but more so they are affirmations to free us from the chains we bind ourselves with. I cannot express how much I love this book, Gigi, Susan, Buck, Godfreys and Maya! Most of all I love Gini Gentry for sharing her adventure to the "Magical Theater." Bravo! I am truly moved!

Honestly, guys won't even bother to crack this one open. It's definitely meant as mystical soap-opera ('Magical Theatre') and this one is for the girls. (And there are even some cheesy love scenes just to keep the ladies interested.) If you have not really started your own journey of awakening and you are female this one might be ok. But if you are looking for any teachings here that you can get without having to read like a dozen pages getting past the prose, then you might want to skip. Instead, you should start with her teacher Don Miguel Ruiz as in The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book)
Part of the problem with most things being touted as 'Toltec' these days is that they are VERY disconnected from any real indigenous tradition. You have to take their word for it that it is anything remotely associated to the Toltecs and Tulan from history.Read more ›
