I was somewhat bothered by a dream I had a couple weeks ago, where I was shot in the chest and knew I was dying. Whether I'd shot myself or someone had murdered me, I couldn't say. The thing I most remember was being nicely surprised that there was no pain, and no fear or concern involved with knowing for certain that my life was over.
I was troubled afterwards, thinking I'd been given a premonition of an unwanted experience in my near future. After reading this dream book, I was more inclined to see it as a positive message. One that illustrated death as not necessarily the painful, negative adventure that I've feared my entire life.
This would be a more positive way of looking at my dream, from a much broader perspective. It was this book that gave me that 'bigger picture' on a rather troubling subject. I was most thankful for that!
